Can anyone point to me a good packing list for families? This trip will be our first with 2 kids and I have no idea where to begin...

I know that the passporter book has a good packing list. My kids are 2 and 1. I guess it depends on if you have a car or if you have to bring everything in one shot. We always have to pack everything we need for the whole trip. Anyway, I try to make a list of what we use everyday at home then make my packing list. Good luck and have a great trip!

Wow that list from Mousesavers is intresting, if I took all that stuff I would have no room to bring anything back.. They did forget to put the kitchen sink down on the list. :rotfl: Its helpfull but I dont think I will be bringing all that with us

I agree. It is useful as a check against forgetting something, however.

With kids, we packed a small emergency kit in our diaper bag. Antibiotic bandaids, gauze (for washing with soap and water in the bathroom), ibuprofen, hydrocortisone (used it many times... especially in AK). We also took snacks for the room - yogurt, string cheese, goldfish were the main ones. Take an extra pair of walking shoes for everyone... we spent several nights drying shoes with the hair dryer! Extra film and batteries for your camera. Our Batteries died in Epcot one day, and we had to pay $11 for new ones! Never forgot to recharge the old ones after that, though!

I deleted the items that were not applicable to our family, added a few things that it didn't include and saved the spreadsheet. At least I have a packing list now and can double/triple check to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. I am already done with some of our packing (just need to pack the clothes that we still wear, but have packed shorts/capris, swimpers etc) and have checked these off the list so I know where I stand when it's time for the final pack.

I can be a disorganized person so this list helps. Although when it comes to WDW I am very organized. :rotfl:
