As our 11/2 cruise is approaching I feel the need to attend Overpackers Anonymous again! What do little kids mostly wear during the day..shorts and tanks? I always pack too much sleeveless stuff. Do they change clothes alot during the day? Is one outfit for day and one for night enough? Help and thanks!!!

Bathing suit and t-shirt during the day. We brought 3 suits for each kid and each kid only used one suit. Plan on each pair of shorts being worn at least twice....they don't wear them long enough to get dirty.
Ours didn't change clothes alot at all. Only changed to swim or when the swimming was done.
For DS we planned on each pair of dress pants being worn twice but brought enough shirts for a fresh one every night. DD wore a different dress each night except the night she ate with the kids club where she did actually wear a pair of shorts...I think it was the only time she wore shorts all week. She went from bathing suits to dinner dresses just about every day.

My 2 year old daughter wore shorts and sleeveless shirts most of the time....She only went in the pool one time so no reason to keep her in a bathing suit all the time....but usually one short set lasted her until it was time to change to dressier dinner clothes..

When you find a chapter of Overpackers Anonymous please let me know where it is. We are also on the 11/2 cruise (4 weeks away) and I have already started packing. I was hoping that the summer weather would change so that I could pack the summer clothes but it's been so warm here my plan isn't working.

I know most posters have said that the kids stay in their bathing suits all day but if they go to the kids clubs do they wear bathing suits there?

I have the 3 of us partially packed already - 2 filled suitcases are laying here next to me in the den - lol - oh ya my DVC backpack is filled already too
and I have 2more lg suitcases and a few more carryons ready to go
and we dont leave until Nov 28th for the nov 30th Eastern Magic

For my son, i put an entire outfit in a gallon ziplock bag - shorts, shirt, underwear and socks. I take one of these for each day, and then one extra for a spare in case something gets really dirty. This works out good, and he is able to go and grap a sack off the shelf and get dressed without me having to stop and gather an outfit for him.

i don't do this with his dinner clothese though. I usually take two slacks and two shirts, and he alternates for dinner each night. This works really well, and helps to not overpack for him.

Prymsu, what a great idea with the ziplocs. I pack everything else in them, but not clothes. I'm going to try this for my DD4. Thanks for the tip! :)

I roll the clothes like i would roll up a towel for packing, and they really don't get too wrinkled. I just did this the last couple of trips we have taken. Before, i would always overpack for my son. Glad it can be passed on to others to use...

The 1-outfit-for-each-day is great! DS9 & DS7 always can help out with packing - all they need to know is how many days we're visiting Mickey for this time! It helps to get them more involved with the trip as well.
