Anyone have any packing tips for the Arizona/Utah trip for the end of May??

Anyone have any packing tips for the Arizona/Utah trip for the end of May??

For our trip at the end of May 2016, we packed the following day/evening clothes:
Fleece jackets (which we wore)
Cotton jacket (me, and I wore it)
T-shirts (and I overpacked here but only wore about half of what I brought)
Jeans
Shorts
One bathing suit with a UV shirt (for the rafting trip)
One Dress (me)
Athletic shoes (2 pair each)
Casual walking sandals (me)
Waterproof sandals (me - husband wore sneakers without socks)

Since our first opportunity to do self-laundry was not until we reached the Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, we brought enough clothes to last us up to that point plus one day. Then we did laundry and repeated outfits. We did not wear any nice clothes during the day because we were getting sweaty and a bit dirty. Showered at night after dinner (except the last day) so we didn't need multiple outfits for one day.

HAT HAT HAT!!! And be sure you pack a hat! :)

Chirple's list is pretty good. I was there mid-May, and it did get chilly at the Grand Canyon in the evening (it actually *snowed* our first night there, but was back up into the 60's by 2pm). And it was windy at arches, so you needed a light jacket. There's also a lot of red dirt in Sedona and Arches, so don't wear anything nice during those days that you'd be mad if they got stained. Some sort of water shoe or Keens for the rafting. Hiking shoes not required, but I liked having them for Arches and the on-your-own time at the Canyon.

We are going in July. Do you think jackets or hoodies are needed?? I'm sure we will take 1 each just in case but we don't want to over pack.

I am at Red Cliffs Lodge right now, chilling out before our See Ya Real Soon (final night) dinner. It has been an incredible week, and I plan to share more soon. We have had amazing weather all week. All the suggestions are great. I would just say to pack minimally and not worry about dressing up whatsoever. It is an extremely casual trip. Some will get a little dressier tonight. Last night was the Junior Adventure night and some parents cleaned up a bit for dinner then too but still quite casual for most. Most of the trip the most I have needed is a very light windbreaker during the day (I have a rainjacket that folds up small). I liked having my hoodie for the sunrise hike in Sedona but otherwise did not really need it. A sweater at night was nice at times. A fleece vest would have been a good option.
Otherwise remember to bring lotion and lip protection! The dry air and dust really dries you out!
I packed in packing cubes which I love but I wish I had packed more in individual outfits for each day in baggies so repacking would be easier. We did do one load of laundry here at Red Cliffs yesterday as we had reworn as much as we could.

July often brings our "monsoons" so at the least pack a lightweight water layer. Depending on your personal temperature, I would still recommend another sleeved layer (either a fleece or quick dry). Vests are always a good in between option in this climate.

We are going in August, looking forward to hearing about Luv2trav and West&East's trip reports. Please share any suggestions, observations, etc...
Thanks
