*** packing coffee *** best way?

I checked my coffee maker, but it wasn't glass. It brewed right into a metal travel type mug. I think if it was glass I would carry it on just to be safe.

I use whole bean coffee at home and I just ground enough for a pot a day and put it individually into a small baggie (1 baggie per day) and then put all of them into a larger baggie. Checked it in my luggage with coffee filters. no problems at all. Gotta have my chocolate mint coffee from Berre's Bros each morning!

I doubt very much that labeling things matters. Obviously you aren't going to write what it really is if you're trying to pass something through that's not allowed.

I would have it sent via ups so when you get to your resort it will be waiting for you. We shipped food ,sun screen and you name it last year and had it in our room when we checked in. Dave

ooooooooooooooooh, that sounds tasty!!
may i ask, where do you get it?
(& OP, we always pack a bag of coffe, & never had a problem).
:)

Our next trip will be quick and I don't want to mess with a grocery store, plus they don't carry what we like anyway (Gevalia).

So will be packing coffee and creamora.... anybody ever do that?

Would it be better to pack in my carry on, or in my checked luggage?

Thinking of the security searches etc. and while its definitely just coffee, I sure don't want them to tear apart my stuff!!

What do you think, whats the best way?

I do it all the time! LOVE MY COFFEE!

The thing is I forgot filters last time!!!! They give you the coffee that's already IN a filter so I need a new plan for the next trip. I either need to find out the right filter size or buy the kind that is already in the filter myself. The coffe they give is too weak for my liking!

I LOVE this coffee! I usually buy 6-8 bags and keep it in the freezer. To "extend" my coffee, I mix it half & half with regular coffee. The flavored beans flavor the regular coffee beans too. (Mix them together in one container and keep in the freezer to use each day)

Hi Kinntj,

go to www. themouseforless . com for Ultimate Disney Packing List.

Saw this post and I checked out the website since I am packing for our family today. This is going to help me out a great deal. My mind is scattered and lists are helpful.
Thanks for posting this!

Ok guys, have any of you ever carried on your own travel-sized coffee pot?

Or is it better to check it in your main suitcase (if it fits)?
