Anyone have any tips on packing clothes so they don't wrinkle so bad? My DH loves button down linen shirts and they are a pain to keep ironed. I plan on ironing before packing but I don't want to do it on vacation. I'm thinking about a garment bag but it would have to be laid on top of luggage in the back of our SUV for the 12 hr drive.

Roll them up......can use a thin sheet of plastic or tissue as a layer before rolling. Hang as soon as you get there and steam in bathroom. :-)

Last trip I ironed our linen clothes then folded carefully & packed them individually in large zip lock bags. It kept them nicely! Just pack carefully in the suitcase so they don't move around and get "smooshed" up.

In my experience rolling works well with knits & such. I think if you try rolling linen you will have a lot of wrinkles. Using tissue paper works well tho.
