Packets - How Long?

Just curious if anyone could tell me approximately how long it takes to get your packet after your package is paid for in full? It is approximately 60 days until our trip so I was just curious as to when I might start looking for it. Thank you for any help you are able to give me.

I paid our trip in Fulll at time of booking... about 2 months ago... and still have gotten nothing but my confirmation email. I have inquired through email to them 3 times now (i guess thinking eventually I would get a differnt answer!) but its been the same answer each time. I will get our packet 30 days before we are to arrive. This has to be something new... because I have always gotten something with in a week of booking in the past.
I have also seen on here that many people have gotten there still with in a week of booking... so I really don't know whats going on with DISNEY! So you could get yours anytime between now and 30 days, since you are leaving in 60!!

We paid our balance in full this past weekend and our trip isn't until September. I asked the CM when we could expect our travel documents and she informed me that they would be mailed approximately 3 weeks before our arrival date. I was bummed, because I love to get my hands on the cool clear vinyl envelope with all the goodies inside!!!

You get this really cool clear vinyl envelope with Mickey imprints on the flap that says Walt Disney World, and inside it, you get a printout of your reservation confirmation, your vouchers for anything included in your package, i.e., Planet Hollywood voucher, SeaRaycers voucher, etc., and your luggage tags. To some people, it probably isn't anything really "woo-hoo spectacular", but some of us are a bit more OCD (me) and love to have our hands on the "real stuff".

I got my confirmation letter on Friday but that was all, no vouchers, no nice vinyl envelope & no luggage tags. I was wondering when the magical envelope would be arriving, just curious really as I wanna be able to have that stuff in my hands asap.

I did my reservations through AAA. Does that mean they get the wonderful envelope? We are leaving in 22 days and I haven't heard about any other documents yet! Hope they come soon!

We leave in 20 days and the travel agent called today to tell me my packet was at her office waiting for me. I am headed in town later this week to pick it up.

When I spoke with the CRO people, they told me no packets are mailed until about 40 days before the vacation, since you can cancel and change up to 45 days prior with no fees. We paid our trip off in March, don't go until September. So I guess I will have to wait for that awesome envelope until August! 124 days and counting!

PS: I can see why they wait, I have changed our ADRs and other stuff at least 3 times. As well as added and subtracted things.

I booked and paid for package last Friday for trip in June (41 days out)(last minute airfare deal/Mothers day present).

Wednesday (-36 days) I received magical Express package
Thurs (-35 days) Confirmation
Friday/today (34 days) I received the packet with luggage tags, etc

That Is what im worried about too. Last yr we would get a mailer every month teling us how much we still owed on the trip and when it was due and then when we paid it off 45 days ahead of the trip we got our info. Now this time we are getting nothing i had to call disney just to make sure we where in the system as i was getting nothing. I paid off the trip and am proud to say I count down the days just to get the magical express tickits because that for me is when it really sinks in IM GOING TO DISNEYWORLD AGAIN!!!! I Just cant wait till my trip hope you all get your info and have a great trip

I received my packet today! I am 30 days out. I am so excited. I already have my suitcase partially packed... The next 30 days is going to go by soooooo slowwwww......

We paid 60 days before we took our trip and recieved on letter in less then 5 days then at like 45 days got a letter then 30 days , then every week got a letter or some kind of packet of info. We said they could have saved us money if they cut down on the paper they mail out to you lol They won't let you forget your trip is coming and its kind of nice but I was so excited because I knew I was going to get a letter from disneyworld at least once a week lol.It didn't help with the time passing though.

We booked through AAA. I paid off our trip about 48 days out and received the call from AAA two and a half weeks later.
