Think Brett Favre wishes he would of retired. He really got banged up by the Bears. I felt he was throwing passes and didn't care if his receivers caught them or not. Most of them were to short. I was wondering why they didn't put the new young quarterback in (can't even remember his name, but know he is 21) and then one of the commentator's said, "Brett will never give up on this game". I guess some people just don't know when to quit.

Live in WI and never been to a Packer Game, but listen to it on the radio.

I'm not too sure why they don't put Aaron Rodgers in.

Like most athletes, Favre probably wants to go out on top and didn't expect the Packers to do as bad as they are.

Brett Favre is sorrounded by guys who are barely NFL players. Quick exercise. Put Favre on the Bears and they're in the Super Bowl this year. Anothe quick exercise. Name 10 QBs better right now than Favre. Yes, he has a ton of interceptions, but he has to make things happen for this team to have any chance of winning.

I don't mine the Packer's record at all this season! I'm a Dallas Cowboy fan stuck in Wisconsin...and finally everyone around here is very quiet on Mondays. I love to root against the Packers (sounds evil, but it's a tradition and most packer fans like to be nasty to me)...and I almost wish they were a little better so they would at least come close to winning a few!

*Gack* I would usually be happy to meet a fellow DISer here in Madison, but in this case ...

How About Them Badgers?

hehe...I'll cheer for the Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks right along with ya! But you're not getting me to wear a cheesehead!

Awww, that's really too bad for all you Cheese Heads.

GO VIKINGS!!!

I don't understand this statement. NFL players are suppose to be your elite players of college football, and yet as someone said, "what about our Badgers", I bet our WI badgers could come in there and beat the Pack this year.

But this is how the NFL is, with free agency and all. No team is meant to dominate. Since Favre came, we have not had a losing season, won countless Division Championships, including the last three years straight, went to two Super Bowls and won one in 1996. I love my Packers, stand by them through thick and thin, but this is what is supposed to happen in the NFL.

I believe that Favre will be back next year. I don't think he will end it like this. I even think that Coach Sherman will be back next year. Get all the guys back healthy, and watch out!

I'm sorry the season is going so poorly for you all. However, as a Browns fan, I am used to suffering.

I feel your pain. I am a Cubs fan. NOT a Chicago sports fan. This year was especially hard on me.

So which key free agents losses are you blaming this on? I can't recall the Packers losing any key players.

IMO the Packers are in trouble because the GM sat on his hands and stuck with the older players. Could be a long rebuilding process given how few young stars they have.

IMO Favre should do the right thing and retire. That will free up some cap room to get new players. Favre's exit could get them two or three good players of defense and get Rodgers some work.
