Here is the Wall E dress I made yesterday for my Wall E obsessed niece. She just woke up from a nap and wasn't in a picture posing mood :rotfl:

I am So grateful for the bookmarks and are going through them this morning trying to decide what to do with my stash. I have to say, though, that this is the funniest thing I have read in an online tutorial so far:

As explained last week, I have moved from an obsession with dressing like a jellyfish to action!

:rotfl:

I'm glad you are finding them useful!!!

I know exactly the bookmark you are talking about!!! I agree, that is pretty funny! So, are you going to make the jellyfish dress??? ;)

Oh, what a little cutie!!!! The dress is adorable!!! I wish I could find some of that fabric!

I am a control freak just like you! With my DD I assumed she would come on her dd period because that is when they said she would come. But she was 5 days early and I couldn't tell if my water broke. That freaked my DH out big time. He kept saying 'what do you mean you don't know?!?!?" Turns out her head kept plugging the hole. Then my son I begged to be induced saying I know he is going to be alot bigger then her and asking so I could make arrangements for my dd(2 at the time) and they wouldn't. I actually went to the hospital thinking I was in labor 3 times and as soon as they hooked me up to those machines my labor would stop. I remember being 3cm and 80% and them sending me home. I remember calling my best friend crying because I knew she was less then that when they took her son. For some reason my kid like to have me go to the hospital at 3am! My son ended up coming on his due date. I was right too he was 2lbs and 2 1/2 inches bigger then his sister. When the nurses weighed him they couldn't believe how much bigger he was from her. I told my dr see I told you he was big!

I certainly hope you have a nice easy delivery and labor and a good sleeper!

I was induced with both of my children too. Michael came at 40wks1day. I was 1 cm dialated and they hooked me up to pitocin around 2 am and he was born at 3 pm. They nurses and my doctor were estimating his weight at about 8 lbs. and I kept telling them he was bigger. Then a couple of nurses told me I was crazy, that it was my first baby and they knew better than I did about his size. Well, when I started pushing, I told them "he's 10 lbs, he's 10 lbs." and they continued to tell me "no". I only pushed for about 30 minutes and when he came out, they all said "wow, he's huge" and I said "I told you so". He was 9lbs. 8oz. With my daughter I was induced 8 days early b/c I did not want to be in the hospital on Christmas (she was due the 23rd). I was 1 or 2 cm. dialated already and they started the pitocin around 8 am and Parker was born at 12:30 pm. Very easy delivery, she weighed 9lbs. 9oz and we all actually thought she was going to weigh more.

HOW CUTE!! I'm sure she lovers it!

Linette, your dress looked amazing!!!!

Cindee, I met Gavin on June 20th too...He turned 10 yesterday!!!

MYTWOTINKS..It's so nice to see you, sorry Riley has been feeling crummy. I'm sure she was thrilled to get sparkly lip gloss and a real fake coach purse in NYC. Sounds like every little girls dream. Lily loves lip gloss. But she calls it Lips. She says Mama I want Lips on. it's a little funny. I hope you get her sorted out soon and that drew is doing well.

LISA!!! Poor Ireland....POOR FRANKLIN. That absolutely broke my heart. We are turtle lovers. I would have been beside myself too. You did right by him though. I'm proud of you.

Thanks for all the kudos. I was really excited to finally have everything done and the pictures done etc. I have new fabric and ideas, so I am excited to start on something new, of course I have to get my BIG GIVE outfit done and Lily and the boys birthday outfits. THEN I have GOT to start on my WDW outfits for OCT.

Trying to find a pattern for a button up shirt dress style for Lily for her AK outfit. You know to make like a little khaki safari style something. Any ideas??/

Oh, what a little cutie!!!! The dress is adorable!!! I wish I could find some of that fabric!

Me too! :rotfl: My sister happened to be in a town near hers with a Hancocks and picked some up for her kids and a yard for me. Then we went to make pajama pants for her DS and didn't have enough fabric, so I gave her back the yard she bought me :worried: to finish his pjs. Now I have to try to make something for Lily out of the scraps

You could do like a safari/khaki shirt w/the bowling shirt pattern and an skirt in some khaki toned animal prints? Wish I had an AK trip to plan for :( Oooh, and maybe add the 2 front pieces on the shirt in the animal print?

I don't think the jellyfish dress is quite me. And I'm kinda waiting for my three year old little model to forget that Miss Cayla accidently stuck her with a pin last week. (It was very minor but she's a bit of a drama queen.)

So, my projects for today are:

trying to find something to do with the top fabric from Simplicity 2988 because I can't find the coordinating fabric;

Figure out how to bind one of those pre-quilted panels

Try to resist driving to the next town over to see if Hancock's has any Wall-E fabric.

That is so sad! Poor little Lily, getting scraps! :confused3
I keep trying to justify a trip to the Hancock's closest to us, it's an hour away! But, there IS a Disney Store there too.....

Jeanne you're a genius. I never make her pants (or shorts) Like NEVER. I just want something different, it seems like the same styles are made over and over for AK. That's definitely an idea. See why we keep you around?

I shall have NO sewing related projects today as we are celebrating Macs
10th birthday w/ bowling and food and maybe a movie. I think I'll take him to pick out an outfit for the day since I didn't buy him any presents (remember the impromtu WDW trip)
Then B has a gig in St. Pete tonight.

I have SO many projects:worried: Join the club, right?

Hmmm...the store where my sister got the Wall-E fabric is about 45 minutes away from me...AND apparently the only Disney store in my state is also in that town... Too bad I don't have time for a road trip with 4 kids and a carsick puppy. :rotfl:

You mean I get to stay? :cool1: :dance3:    and Happy Birthday Gavin! Have a fun day!

Cayla, stop fighting it!!! Go to Hancock's!!!!

Now are you really talking to Cayla, or are you talking to yourself? You know you want to...and Disney Store just marked everything down...

Sorry your little girl has been so sick.
I am surprised the AG food wasn't good. The one in Chicago is wonderful at least for breakfast. The best part for us now if I found out they can accommodate my DD8 gluten free needs! So She can still go there. We might head there over 4th of July when my mom comes in to town.

We wanted to go to the brunch instead, but they weren't offering it for any of the days we were there. I assumed that the brunch would be pretty good because how can French toast be anything but wonderful???? We did the lunch in Chicago in March and after doing it twice now I would definitely recomend sticking with the breakfast food!

Jeanne, WHAT have you reduced that poor sweet Lily to, scraps? It's a good thing she has Auntie Theresa to take up for her.

I would like to point out that I am totally NOT tempted at ALL to go looking for Wall E fabric.

Good to know! For us it depends on which could serve my DD with her Celiac(needs to be Gluten Free) So for us which ever can handle that gets us. As long as your DD had fun though right:cool2:

That dress is so cute. I plan on using the same pattern to make Jenna's Wall-E dress. I love the color combination.

Here is a pattern I bought. http://www.lanetzliving.net/inc/sdetail/9676 I was going to do the same thing with it for Jenna, but decided not to. If you can downsize a pattern I will give you the one I have. It is a size 6.

I appreciate the NY/LV votes that I have received. I think that I pretty much have DH on board for a trip to NY. I grew up in LV and we went there for our Honeymoon, so I don't really want to see it again. I want to see something else. We are even thinking of flying. :cool1: and :faint: None of us has ever flown anywhere.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spent a good hour or so this morning commenting on everything from the last 10 pages. Then, I went outside to plant some flowers. I came back in to see if there was anything new posted and I don't see the huge multi-quote that I posted this morning on here. HOW did that happen? I know I clicked "submit". I wonder if it had too many pictures and I didn't notice. Then, Henry got on the computer and shut my window (I'm ALWAYS telling him not to shut my windows), and erased my multi-quote. I'm sure you all wanted to hear about this, but it's so frustrating when that happens!

Anyway, I need to get off the computer again because I have to get ready for Sawyer's birthday party tomorrow. Rest assured that if you posted something, I commented on it!

Gotta be quick, DH is in a hurry to get home... well it IS like 1 am...

BUT here are the completed Togs.

This last one came out too big. Little is kinda between a 2 nad 3 and I made this top in a 3 and it didn't really work out. The pics of it don't really show the capris and make the top look longer than it is. I am probably not listing this right now, I don't have an even half way decent pic. I also listed the round necked beach dress.

I finally finished them and I got more inspiration on a recent fabric shopping trip. I hope to have a few more funky/punky things coming soon. These aren't on the site yet, I just e-mailed them to her, I expect they will be up soon. YAY, me!! I'm so excited.
But I gotta go B is getting anxious to leave.

...t.

Way to go Tiffani! They are beautiful outfits and Lily is getting really big. I'm not sure how much longer you can call her Little though! Her hair is really getting long too! You should post more pictures of her. You need to post the site again where they will be listed. I love the second outfit especially!

I have a question. We are debating on where we want to go next year for our annual family vacation. DH has said no to WDW and the UK. So I have come up with Las Vegas and New York. Which one would you think would be more fun?

Hmm, I've never been to either city but I would maybe guess Las Vegas? I think if we had the choice that is where we would go for a family vacation.

I am a control freak just like you! With my DD I assumed she would come on her dd period because that is when they said she would come. But she was 5 days early and I couldn't tell if my water broke. The nurses couldn't believe how big my Grace was either. I remember pushing (and my stupid epidural had worn off by this time so I was feeling EVERYTHING) and the nurse saying WOW, look at those shoulders. It's going to be a football player! And my doctor told her to shush since we didn't know if it was a boy or a girl. She was 9lb. 1 oz.

My second they induced me 10 days early and she was only 7lb. 14 oz. So Claire seemed like a breeze!

This time around I'll be induced just a week early  . When I saw the doctor yesterday she was estimating the baby to be between 7 and 7.5 lb. right now and if I make it to the induction date the baby ought to be between 8-8.5 lb. Although this baby feels big to me so we'll see. I'm sure I won't go into labor though, I never do!

Wow, your niece looks just like Lily (only smaller!). Beautiful dress. Now I'm thinking that I should make a Wall E dress for our trip in Sept. I need everyone to stop adding outfit ideas to my trip list please! I doubt I get everything done as it is!

Uhm, yeah, those are big enough babies! I am not that big of a person (only 5'4" and about 20 pounds ;) overweight) so I thought I was never going to be "right" again after my firstborn! I truly believed that when I went to my six week check-up after Grace was born that my doctor was going to say that something was "wrong" down "there" since I still had a lot of pain (I had a stage 4 episiotomy and tear). When she said that everything looked normal and I could resume "normal" activities I thought she had lost her mind :rotfl2: !
