I need some advice!

I am making a little einstein dress using CarlaC stripwork pattern. I am using these 2 fabrics:
2008_0403Image0001.jpg

Which of these 2 should I use for the other strips?
2008_0718Image0001.jpg

I also went to Hancocks...I am in trouble! and got some different Wall-e fabric than I got last week, which will work for the bodice..
2008_0718Image0002.jpg

I also picked up the Nemo story book. I was wondering if anyone out there would trade the storybook for 1 of 2 things...either a mickey mouse storybook or a 101 dalmation pillowcase (new).

I like the blue and the yellow for the other 2 strip fabrics. That is funny, when you posted the Wall-E fabric I had to call my sister immediately. My 20 month old neice is strangely obsessed with Wall-e :confused3 When we were in L.A. there were Wall-e posters and billboards everywhere and everytime she saw one she would just say "Wall-e" over and over and over again. So I told my sister to run to her Hancocks and look for it. She found some and the pillow panels also and bought them for me to make my neice a jumper. Now whenever the baby sees the fabric she gets all excited.

Here are some pictures from our recent trip...

How big are the panels on that wall-e fabric are they bigger than storybook panels? I would LOVE to have some. The green wall-e i just bought is in the washer now and I am going to make DD a dress to got see the movie. I would love to use one of these panels for the top, but I haven't seen it ANYWHERE!!!

While I'm waiting for my photos to upload into photo bucket, here is some fabric I won on :wizard: a few weeks ago. It is from Asia but doesn't smell weird :confused3 :rotfl2: (I'm almost disappointed) I'm going to use some of it to make Luke a bowling shirt for his birthday trip and hopefully will have enough left to use for some thing else.

Jham, I am so sorry about your loss. I can't even imagine how hard last week was for you. One of my dd's friends lost her brother to sids 2 yrs ago and when ever we hang out with the family she talk about her son all the tome and you know what I kind of enjoy hearing about him. On one hand it breaks my heart but I can really tell it helps the mom deal with the loss. So i told her talk about him all she wants and forgive me if I get teary eyed.

I like the red polk a dot one. I think that would look adorable with it.

What cute kids! Oh and the outfits are great too! My sister in laws would love them! they love Chip and Dale.

I love too much Lilys! And I love the dress, too - the fabrics are GREAT! I really need to get to working on a 4th of July something for the kids. I may have to post here in a bit and get some opinions! I can't decide what to do!

So stinking cute!! The kids and the customs! Now, hurry and upload some more pictures so we can see some more!!!!! :rotfl:

 So I see a lot of appliqued jeans on ****. Can anyone tell me do these guys open the hem on the jeans or how is it that they are doing it. Just ironing on with Steam a Seam?

I see alot of people have already answered your question! I just pay attention to how they are rolled, and try to put them together the same way. It doesn't always work, but since it's on the inside, I've never had a problem. The easiest wat is to cu off the hem and add a ruffle or a band.

We went to the zoo today! I made Sawyer and Tessa matching Go Diego Go shirts for the occasion. Tessa's is CarlaC's Simply Sweet dress, with a stripwork skirt attached. I was going to make it a dress, but decided to do a long shirt after she ripped her 3rd dress this month from crawling on it. :headache: Sawyer's is CarlaC's new bowling shirt pattern.

Here's Sawyer. He was sitting by some goats, but I tried to crop them out for YCMT.

Not the most clear pictures of Tessa's outfit, but you get the idea:

Here they are together:

Sawyer got to feed the giraffes for the first time today. Yes, that slimy black thing is a giraffe tounge!

He LOOVED them!!

How stinkin cute are they!! We went to a Safari in Ohio this past wekend. We got to feed the giraffs too - out of the sunroof of our car!!

Yep, that was through the sunroof.

DD has been asking for a Snow White set since I started sewing last summer!! I finally got around to it! Of course, my camera died after I took pictures so you all will have to settle for a sneak peek. I got some fabulous bows to match the set!! I'll share those pictures now, and I'll upload more later!!

I love those outifts. How cute are your kids?!?!?!

That's exactly what I want to try with those! I hope I can sweet talk DH into going back to Hancock's... (it's right near his office)
