The pants say "Just One Bite" I couldn't get a good picture of the pantleg!!

WOW... that is just amazing. I really wish I had the patience to learn to applique- or the time... I LOVE this outfit, great job

Seriously amazing creations ladies!!! Wowza! I had to kinda skim the last 10 pages to catch up since I missed a day...this thread is quite a commitment to keep up with....:rotfl2: Did we get married or something??? :confused3 :rotfl:

Well, aren't you wondering why I had to catch up? Well I'll tell you anyways... ;) my girlfriend and I took the kids to Sesame Place in PA and had a blast. We had perfect weather and the girls got lots of compliments on their matching outfits. I must say they were easier to keep track of cause they matched! We did the dry rides in the AM, had lunch (picnic we brought), then went on the wet attractions, then changed and did a few more dry rides. By the end of the day 3 pm, they were TIRED OUT!!! We did manage a character picture at the end.:thumbsup2

Here are a few pics and if you want to see them all, a link to the slideshow! :goodvibes

I'm trying my hand at shoes...This was the first pair...I don't know if I like them...I wanted Nautical, but was distracted by all things Mickey...
I only have the ribbon in one, as the other was still drying...

So cute! Love them.

I can't get over how talented every one is!

Thanks so much!!! Yep, I just started sewing last summer - with the help of quite a few Disers! I think I started in late July. So it's almost been a year for me!

WOW!!:worship: :worship:
I am amazed!! I just started sewing in Feb of this year, so I had better hurry if I want to catch up!! When I get back from Disneyland next week, I will start to learn to do the appliques. Do you have a serger? I am excited - my daughter was wearing one of my creations in Wal-Mart. Someone stopped me and asked where I got it. When I told her I made it - she wanted one!! She just about begged me to make a couple for her daughters. So I just made two pillowcase dresses (lined) that I sold!! I have two more dresses that have been ordered! I had no intentions of selling my dresses, but she really wanted some. The two I made yesterday turned out really good. I forgot to get pictures.

You know you have to share how you did that, right? I really want shoes to match outfits, but I don't want to buy shoes for every outfit (the cute ones are pricey!) If I can make them myself, that would be great!

Here is what I have been doing the last couple days:

I found the material for this daisy kingdom pattern at walmart and finally got up the courage to try it. The piping took 2 trys, but i finally got it. The instructions skipped steps (go figure)!:confused3

I did this one with some of the sale fabric from hancock. It is a Mccalls pattern. I still think that CarlaC's pattern is better, but I have done lots of it so i am trying to branch out.

Those look great! What did you use for your sealer? I have a shoe problem. My feet are really wide and I can't ever find cute shoes for myself, so Lily has a TON of shoes! I really love shoes.

Very cute! I love the Mickey surfboard fabric. I bought some once for my I Spy quilt (which I swear I'll start someday) and I wish I'd bought more!

I just finished making these for the little girls that I babysit. When they tried them on their brother asked me if I would make him a zoo shirt. That really made me feel good that he wanted something too. So now I need to come up with a boy shirt with zebra print.

Those look awesome!!! I think I recognize some of the designs as stickers. Did you decropage over stickers? Are they leather sneakers? CUTE!!!!!!

Those came out great! The Daisy Kingdom dress was worth the effort!

Hi! I agree with you on the Daisy Kingdom pattern. I must have read and reread the part about the piping 4234234 times and stared at the picture for an hour before I could actually do it. The bad thing was I did this right after making a Carla C pattern and it was so hard. The people writing the instructions for these pattern must get money taken out of their paycheck for each word they write. Yeesh,....would it kill them to explain something??? :confused3 In any case, your dresses came out perfect...I really love the fabric. I couldnt find any at our walmart or joann's so I ended up doing a pooh bear and friends with rainbow fabric....

It drives me CRAZY!!!! I had peoblems with that waistband too. Nowhere do they explain that it has to stand up agianst the bodice. I looked at it and read the instructions, I looked at it agian, I looked at the pattern pictures. Then I came to the conclusion that this had to be right b/c it was the only way I could get the pieces to line up!!! The other thing that kills me is the sizing. DD wears a 4, but I made a 3 and extended it 2 inches and I still had to take 2 inches out of the elastic. I never have to adjust Carla's!!

How cool is this? Not only did I find another Disney chat board but I found clothes as well YAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! lol
