If I were going to 1900 Park Fair, I would do a Mary Poppin's theme-maybe something with carousel horses?

OOOH!!! I LOOOOVE that idea!!! I love carousel horses! Ok, someone has to do this now so I can Case them!

There is a group of ladies in my town who started a consignment sale, it gets bigger every time, it's three times a year, the spring and the back to school sales are the biggest. They started having everyone ticket with their online program last sale which makes things a lot easier.

Delaney has so many clothes and stuff that I've been trying to thin out the stuff we have, even if we have another baby there were things we'd do differently, like Delaney hated her bouncy seat because it was too loud so we'll get rid of it and get a different more calming one the next time.

I work the sale because it gets me in earlier and I make a little money so I usually end up even with what I spend and what I sell.

Sounds like a great setup!

The sidewinder works great!

Much faster than doing it on the sewing machine, and I don't have to stop midstream to rethread the machine! Now if it only had a remote control, I would be all set!

another question. My son really wants a new pair of short with this Flannel (yes flannel) cars fabric I bought. I don't have a pattern am I crazy to think I can take a pair of shorts that already fit him (say big pj shorts) and trace it on paper and maybe add an inch or so for seam allowance and just put them together?

For those that have been to 1900 Park Fair - I'm trying to decide if I should do a Mary Poppins theme custom, or Alice in Wonderland theme. Which one is going to make for better pictures?

Mary Poppins is always out in the lobby at 1900 Park Fare (in her Jolly Holiday outfit) while Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger are in the actual restaurant. Again as someone else mentioned, they are there for breakfast. Cindy is there for dinner. Make sure to have strawberry soup YUM!!! Here is my DD 2 years ago at 1900 PF. Alice and the Mad Hatter made a HUGE deal out of her.

The dress is not a custom...it was made by the Disney Co. The Apron is embroidered with the rabbit and says "hello, goodbye, I'm late" The 2nd picture is the best pic I have of the design.

I knew i was forgetting something Revrob Congrats on booking your trip for September!!!!!!

What is the scoop on this free dinning? Now that we have signed out life away to our DVC i was debating maybe next yr doing the free dinning? How far in advance do they announce it? When is it usually happen? September?

Which meal are you going for? The reason I ask-we went for Breakfast-MP was only in the hallway and Alice and Mad Hatter were in the dining area with the Pooh characters. I don't know if they do all the meals that way. But I got better pictures of MP than of the Alice characters. (And if you make a MP you can make one a little bigger for Morgan, since I have not yet made her a MP -bought the fabric LOL)

We're going for breakfast. I didn't realize it was different characters for different meals, so I'm sure glad I asked! I wonder now if I should make three customs and change her in between!?!

I LOVE this dress. In my mind, I had a variation of this dress spinning for Alice. I may go with that. Thanks for the pics! They're precious!

Now, to decide what to do. I LOVE the Mary Poppins w/ carousel horses idea. I love the Alice idea. We're not going to have the opportunity to see Pooh & friends anywhere else, so that would be great too. What's a girl to do?

The white layer is sewn in. I scalloped the trim on the slip on my machine. It is great design for touring the parks in the summer.

I haven't had time to go back through the posts and see what all I've missed BUT just wanted to say I'm here, back to work and feeling better (cot completely but considerably) Also new and exciting news. My mom and dad have decided to plan a trip to the world in July for the kids (my son/daughter/newphew) birthdays and my sister said her boyfriend hasn't ever been so they'd like to go so now it is a family trip. it'll only be one park and an overnight stay (I'm fighting for on site, we'll see what happens) BUT I am SOOOO excited. B has a gig in Orlando in Aug. and we planned on spending the weekend at wdw then so this is a nice bonus trip. It also means that I no longer have to be torn between using up some of my minnie dot or doing a cindy outfit ala JHAM for our MK day. It will be too hot this summer for the zumas so I will make a minnie dress for our summer trips. WOOHOO.. I am UBER excited. I love WDW!!!

It is a great dress...and the best part was that I won it on for $17...what a steal.

Oh please post pics of that clan all dressed up! We still haven't figured out our MNSSHP outfits/costumes yet. We are going in Sept though so it will be really hot. We need to figure out "cool" outfits.

My goal for Disney was 20 lbs too! I'm only down 7...which means I have to lose 3 more in June, 5 in July, 5 in August! Keeping my fingers crossed while I'm eating my crappy weight watcher yogurt for breakfast!!!
