Packages like Disney??

Hello.. I am sure this is somewhere but does Universal have anything like Disney were you can use Magical Express, hotel and tickets package? Looking for information for my boss. Thanks.

They do not want to rent a vehicle and would like to stay on property, but would like a package deal..

You can book a package through Universal but transportation from the airport to the hotels is an additional fee. Also it has come to many people's attention that booking the packages as a whole ends up costing you more then booking individual pieces. I found booking a package very confusing with Universal.

I booked a package before and did not find it confusing at all. You just plug in your dates, choose your hotel and then add any other components you want like dining or transportation. You can even modify your park tickets.

I have priced things out both ways and there was very little difference. I opted for the package only because I can make payments and keep better track of everything.

But the downside is that there are penalties for changing dates/etc, and your cancellation date is further out than if you book room only. Room-only is a lot more dynamic.

And you can make payments if you do room-only, FYI. Otherwise it's the one-night deposit and then the balance is due at checkin. Tickets can be purchased as you wish (one at a time, all at once, the day before you checkin, etc, and even from other websites that might have tickets at a discount).
