Packages for 2004 Marathon

I'm running in the 2003 half-marathon and I haven't heard a peep about special hotel packages for the event or who the host resort is for the event. Does anyone know more ? Tks!

The only thing I heard is that CBR is the official host hotel for the vendors and sponsors.

DH hasn't gotten anything else at this point.

The last newsletter I received about the marathon was on 5/2/03. The info said : To book a package, call (407) 939-7810, or send an e-mail to wdw.disney.sports.travel@disney.com. "

The WWOS complex is going to host the expo and they are blocking rooms for vendors, etc... at CBR.

When I registered for the half-marathon in March I requested information on the package deal. I was sent info for the WL, including UPH tickets. It really wasn't a deal at all...the prices were not any lower than anyone else. Plus, I don't think we will use UPH tickets for this trip. I'm not sure if there is an "official" resort for the runners...I guess we'll find out this fall. Sorry I can't give you any more info!! I wish I knew as well!!

As an FYI--The "Package" prices for the marathon are never a god deal, and passes are not discounted to entrants and their parties--except that you can get into PI for free or at a discount (varies year to year) on that Sunday night.
