Do you have to buy a certain ticket in order to get a package? I had my Dreams TA quote me a price for a 5 night trip. The quote came back with 6 day hoppers. We would only need 5 day hoppers, because or arrival time in Orlando will not be until after 7pm. I know it is probably only a few dollars, but saving a few here and there can add up, kwim? And I am not really sure we need hoppers to begin with.

Otherwise I am thinking we will do room only for the first night, and then start the package the next day. But I'm hoping do that would not too big of a pain.

So am I stuck with 6 day hopper tickets?:confused3

You can get any number of theme park tickets you want (hopper or no hopper, your choice). The number of nights you stay has nothing to do with the number of park days you get. For example, you can get a 1 day ticket and stay 6 nights......or stay 2 nights and get a 10 day ticket. But to have a "package" requires atleast a 1 day ticket....which is also a minimum requirement to get the dining plan. So if you prefer to get just the 5 day no hopper, just tell your TA and have them change it.

you might ask what the difference in cost is between the 5 & the 6...I know on one of our recent package deals, seems like it was only a few dollars difference between 5 days & 6 days, so we kept the longer # of days just in case we wanted to hit the park on departure day (we were driving, so did have a little flexibility on departure times.)
