Hi. I'm reading about the MYW packages and was wondering if it's better to book your resort directly and purchase your park tickets separately or puchase the package together? I am only going to be in the parks for 4 days.
Also, I was directed to the Dreams Unlimited site to get a quote for a resort package. Is this the best way to go? Or are there better deals out there price-wise?

Package or not, depends on what deals are available. Last year we got 7 nights for the price of 5 doing a package.

DU is a great way to go for some. They will keep an eye out for any discounts that you are elegible for and get them for you. We booked through them, and while we were traveling, Disney offered a room only discount. When we got home, I had an email from DU telling me that they got the discount for me. If I did not have DU looking out for me, I would have missed the discount, as they were sold out when I got back home.
DU also arranged a number of PS for us and got us our MVMCP tickets. Very convienent.

Of course if you have the time and don't mind calling CRO back several times, you can get the same discounts and make the arrangements yourself.
We loved the service due to our hectic schedules.

DU has the ability to book ANY discount that you are eligible for, provided there's availability.

I used Trisha at DU for my honeymoon, and she planned a fantastic itinerary, made all of our advance dining reservation arrangements, AND secured us a discount with a postcard we'd received.

Another huge fan of DU. In the past, I always booked directly with WDW. Then I found these boards, saved lots of money, and will never book the trip myself again. We use Sue Ellen and I cannot say enough good things about her.
