? package delivery

I am probably behind the times but is package delivery from the parks to the resorts still an option? I know last October they delivered to the gift shop but someone told me that is no longer an option. anyone know for sure? Thanks

WE used it a couple of weeks ago at BWV. Packages were delievered to the store on the Boardwalk.

I believe they now deliver to the resort gift shop.

Thanks for the answers- another question - same subject- at dinner last night someone said they were told you have to pay for the delivery - is this something new or are they misinformed?

I used the package delivery in Nov. O2 for the first time and it was delivered to the gift shop at POFQ. One note that I did not know until then... the package was delivered the next day. I had assumed it would be delivered that evening since we always go off season and hours are so short.

Perhaps they were talking about having an OUTSIDE package delivered. Some of the resorts will charge to accept deliveries from places like netgrocer.com and things like that. I had FedEx deliver a replacement for a lost Visa card once to the BC and there was no extra charge, but I can understand them having one to have to handle and store a large or bulky item.

If you stay in the concierge at one of the delux hotels they packages are delivered to your room sort of. Ours were in the hall, like they had been thrown in.Years ago at then Dixie Landings they actually took a few steps in the room and placed them on the beds.

Thank you all -- at least now I know I was not having any senior moments with what I thought was the way it worked. Things change so quickly I thought I had missed that bit of information and while I don't plan any "large" purchases sometimes they just happen. Thanks again

Hi,

Yes free package delivery from the parks to your disney resort is still an option. They do deliver to the resort gift shop now instead of directly to your room unless you are staying concierge at the AKL then they deliver your packages when they do the turndown service right to your room. I am not sure if other resort concierges do this or not.

You can also have things shipped home. We did this from two different stores and you save on the FL state sales tax if you are shipping the package to an address outside of FL.
