Package delivery

We are now in the single digits. We leave in 9 days.
I was wondering how many of you have used the package delivery from the stores in the parks to the hotel. Any problems?

we use it all the time and we've never had a problem.....just hang onto your package receipt and you're all set....

we leave in 7 days!!

We have used the package delivery system without any problem. We just pick it up in the hotel gift shop. I have read before that there can be lines for pick ups during busy times. I think they say to allow 24 hours for delivery so we never chance it during our last day. Then we send our stuff to the front of the park for pick up when we leave. I hope it works for you.

Yup we use it all the time as well for anything big up until the last 2 days of our trip.Never had a problem.

We also ship bigger items directly home as well .The price for that just went up so we will be thinking more on that.But for $16 ( $22 -the Tax )to ship a $85 snowglobe home that wasn't to bad as it's insured through them now .We have had thing shipped broken and a simple phone call has always taken care of it.

Just check your bags against your reciept and you should be fine.-

I love this service. When we went in March i bought some popcorn bowl sets and they were very bulky. Thank god we could send it to the room and not have to worry about carring it or losing anything. Disney does it great, i never waited to get my items and the service is FREE!!!!! This is truly a great Disney Idea!

Used the package delivery 7 times in August, and each time the item(s) were in our gift shop when they told us they would be there. I have never had a problem using it.

I had purchased a T-shirt at MGM and asked to have it shipped to our resort and the next day I went to pick it up at the store by the food court and they had not got it yet, so I asked if it would be there the next day, they told me yes but they would put a search on it. the next day which was the Thursday when the high alert started from the airplane scare my T-shirt still had not showed up I told them we was leaving the next day and I wanted it that night as we was leaving early the next day before the package pickup place would open, and was told it would be and a message would be on our room phone telling us. We got back from MK that nite and no message, so I walked over to the package place and was told it would be there the next morning, I told them we was leaving early and they said they would ship it to us in England and we still are waiting for it. I emailed Disney asking for it and now they want me to mail my slip showing I had paid for it. I'm not saying it was all that bad we had other things shipped to our resort and had no problems but this did sour us on doing it again if we ever go back.
