Package Delivery if staying On Site......

We will be staying at the PPH, in Sept for the first time in YEARS!!
If we buy items in the park or WOD, will they deliver to the hotel? or do we have to take it to the newsstand at the front of the park?

I read any on-sight resort guest can have their purchases sent to their hotel room from the parks. I'm not sure about downtown Disney. I do remember reading that packages may not be delivered for 24 hours so don't do it on your last day.

Yes, you can have packages sent back to you room and pick them up the next morning at bell services.

You can't send back any personal items though.

They will do it from the store. If you only want it sent to the newstand out front, they will do that too.

OP, when you buy something you have it sent to the hotel. It will be at Bell Services the NEXT day. Which means you cannot do this even the day before checkout, because they don't guarantee that it will be there by checkout. They won't do it even if you promise you're not leaving until later. So do your shopping before that last full day.

And it does NOT get delivered to your actual room. Again, it goes to Bell Services and you pick it up.

As far as I know that's still available. Just don't forget to pick the stuff up!

They will do it from the store. If you only want it sent to the newstand out front, they will do that too.

The store sends it to your DLR hotel. They deliver around 6-7am the next morning. So if you're not checking out until 11 then you'll get your items for sure. We once checked out at 10am for a flight and our items were at GCH no problem.


It's a perk for sure- my DH says it costs him even MORE to stay onsite because when we shop in the park I don't have to worry about carrying anything all day

When we were there in May we were told by a CM we would have to walk our packages to the newsstand for storage, that they would not deliver them there. I think that only certain stores deliver to the newsstand, others you have to walk your purchases. Be sure you check before you purchase.

We ended up renting a locker and 'batch shopping' and making a locker run.

Package delivery is one of the main reasons I stay onsite, but this last trip was at the end of a cross country RV trip, so we were off site at an RV park.

You can check packages at sites other than the Newsstand in DL (there's only 1 spot in DCA), but the problem is you have to pick them up from the same spot. Getting a locker is probably better if the alternative is going to be going back around the resort picking things up.
