Hey All! In just the bit I've read here you made me dicide on US/IA over WDW , thanks!

I am planning the honeymoon we never had for May12-16. I want to stay on-site, preferably PBH but would do HRH too. The cheapest rate I could find for that week, since it was a last mintue put together is 209.95 for a standard PBH or 179.95 standard HRH each with the 4th nite free. So basically 711 for a standard@ PBH. But with a pkg off the USF site we would get a deluxe @ PBH with the same 5 day passes I was planning on buying seperate and a $200 coupon book, movie ticket and the travel insurance totalling a few bucks over 1200.

I guess what I am wondering is, is the deluxe really really worth it? Is the PBH really that much better than HRH?

We have 3 kids, have never been away for more than 24 hours so I want this to be really special for us both.

Since it is fairly late there aren't many options left. So any advice or input would be greatly appreciated!!!!

"Stinky"- Hello and welcome to the DIS!

DW almost always finds it cheaper to put together our own packages rather than those offered. But the package that you've mentioned seems to be a good enough deal. You could probably pay less by booking just the room and buying your passes separately, but as long as you think you'll use a good number of the coupons, you can go with it.

Both PBH and HRH are gorgeous, and offer luxurious, comfortable rooms, great restaurants and amemities. Still, since you said it was a second ( or first!) honeymoon you were looking for, I'd have to say that PBH should have the edge. It is more romantic that the HRH, which puts more emphasis on fun. And since the package gets you into the deluxe room, I'd say go for it.

Actually, since it's after spring break and before summer vacation you should be in good shape. Try calling and asking about an Entertainment book discount. They tend to give the biggest discount and you can always get the book if you don't already have one. You don't need the book to make the reservation, but probably would need to show the card at check-in. We were able to get the Entertainment rate for spring break (for RP) when we booked about a month ago.

I haven't stayed at PB, but I've heard that it would be a nice place for a honeymoon, even a belated one! Don't feel bad, we've been married for 20 years and we haven't had a honeymoon. Some day.
