Pack Well its cold in Florida

We just got back yesterday and it was cold! It was in the 30's/40's a couple days. The wind is what really makes things worse though. Layers are great! I would also bring gloves from home for nighttime activities.

Layers are the thing! That way when it warms up during the day, you can take things off, then put them back on as the temperatur drops. I just got back yesterday and wore jeans every day. I wore a short sleeve t-shirt, a photographers vest (for the pockets)and a jacket (kept a srarf and gloves in the pockets of the vest) and pulled them out after dark. It would be warm in the sun, but chilly when you got in the shade. I did wear my heavy winter coat for our Illuminations cruise Saturday night (it got down to 32 degrees and we were going to be out on the water. The boat captain provided blankets and we were glad of them. (I went prepared - I carried hunter's hand warmer packets in my coat pockets, so I could warm my hands). Ok, so I'm a sissy - It doesn't get that cold in south Mississippi that often.
