I have never been to FL in November. Trying to figure out how to pack light and yet be prepared for the weather.

shorts for the daytime. and 1 pair of jeans/slacks for evening time. that will get you covered for both. we have worn shorts in december.

We were there from 10/30-11/8 last year. It was hot and humid. Don't know if that's normal, but it was in the mid to upper 80's most days. Very sticky. We never pulled out the pants we brought. Later at night-- it would cool off alittle but not really drastically.

bring both!
Like a previous poster said, I've walked the parks in December with shorts, tank tops, and flip flops on!

(jeans and a light sweater at night though!)

When we go to WDW during the 'cooler' months, we fly in our jeans and a sweatshirt. That way, we have them if we need them but they don't take up room in our bags. When we went in mid-Dec I wore jeans some nights but shorts during the day. Early Nov it was mostly shorts tho. For our T-day trip, we'll be flying in the heavier stuff, shorts in our carry-ons!!

Bring both. I live down here now, but in traveling down to WDW past Novembers it can very warm during the day to quite chilly at night. Bring a pair of jeans/pants and a sweatshirt. We'd usually wear a sweatshirt down and plan on buying another one when we were down here...

Don't be too secure in the warmth! We nearly froze our "tushies" off the first weekend in December last year. I had a full-lenghth, faux fur-lined suede coat, and I was still cold. When we arrived, everyone made fun of me because it was hot. By the 2nd or 3rd day, everyone wanted my coat!

I go every year at the same time in December, and it's very unpredictable. Typically, it's warm during the days, but we almost always have a COLD day. I went in November a couple of years ago and had the same experience. Ended up buying a heavy fleece jacket with pockets and a hood in Canada on that trip.

Just be prepared for both temperatures. Seems nothing is normal anymore for weather.

I will second this poster.......late in Nov and into Dec. the weather can be iffy and I too have worn a winter ski jacket to a couple of the MVMCP's get can get downright bone chilling and the next day be beautiful. Keep an eye on accuweather.com before you close the suitcase but I would defineately bring some long pants with you. Especially this year the weather pattern seems to be really strange....................as I am sitting here thinking that we may have hurricane Ivan to deal with and I still haven't cleaned up from Frances!!

We were there Nov. 6-10 in 2002. It was in the high 70's, low 80's every day and down into the 60's at night. We wore shorts every day and just put on sweatshirts or jackets at night. We never wore pants the whole time, but I did have a pair of jeans along for everyone just in case. It can be cold then though as others have said and it depends how cold you personally get. We're from MN, so we're used to wearing shorts and a sweatshirt when it's in the 60's. My grandma, on the other hand, has lived in FL for 22 years and when it's in the 60's she's in pants, a long sleeve shirt and a sweater. :D

ncbyrne - how are you!! It's me, Anna on Gallows Hill Road. Are you going in November? We are too .... during teacher's convention. It's such a small world that we live near each other and travel to WDW at the same times.

My girls are getting too big to miss too many days at school so we are trying out November.

I always check out accuweather.com before I go to WDW to check out how the weather may be. It's not 100%, but it can at least give you an idea.

On our honeymoon the first week in November in 2002 we nearly roasted. It was in the high 80s almost every day except for one. That one day it was chilly in the morning but wouldn't you know as soon as I broke down and bought a long sleeve shirt it started climbing towards the mid 80s again.

We were there last year about the same dates....shorts for the day (it was quite warm)!! I wore capris in the evening.

Hi CuteKatCar! Ya know, I've bet we've seen each other at ShopRite, Pathmark or Kings - maybe we should wear lime green when grocery shopping...LOL My DGDs live in Garwood and their school will be closed Nov. 1-8. They move into the new bldg. on the 9th. My DD, their mother, is a K teacher in Cranford, and has Thurs and Fri off for the convention...but she's getting a sub for two days to make the trip a bit longer. It's a surprise birthday present for the girls who will turn 7 + 11 just before the trip! This is my 2nd trip this year. I was there in May - just DH and me! (He'd rather stay home when I take the kids).

Hi,

My girls are turning 8 and 12 in November. My oldest says this is the last time she can miss school! (she just started 6th grade) She is missing 3 days - I hope it will be ok.

We took them on a cruise to Bermuda in August (missed all hurricanes), out of Bayonne, and they loved it! I don't think we'll be going back to WDW for a while now; they want to go on another cruise.

I do miss the May/June visit to WDW and I'm hoping November will be warm enough to go to TL.

Happy planning,

Anna
