P&PP May 9th? Check in! 30 So Far!

Our family of five is going! I just received my Elizabeth Swann gown and am still working on my husband and the boys costumes. My two year old princess is insisting on being Sleeping Beauty. I'm concerned she's going to be hot so I'm probably going to buy the shorter dress one.

I am having trouble deciding on which costume to get for my 2 year old princess as well. She is a little hot box so I don't know that i will get the heavy ones. I know this isn't the typical "disney princess" dress but it's cute and good for hot weather! So I may get this...

Last year for our Sept trip, I found a really cute short sleeve princess dress at Toys R Us for $16 (before coupon). It was in the dress up section and wasn't Disney but DD loved it and it was much cheaper than the Disney ones!

If I don't get the "Captain Dad/Captain Mom and Captain's Kid" t-shirts, then she'll wear the princess dress again.

Hi! Just checking in to say that we will be there May 9th as well

I have been going to WDW for years but I have never been to a "special event" at the park before. I am very excited.

I am also excited that my husband said he wanted to dress up like a pirate.

Never saw that one coming

My girls are wearing their Princess costumes to the party. However, I'm guessing that they will want to be more comfortable as the night goes on, so I am making them t-shirts. Here is a picture of them in their dresses and these are the designs for the t-shirts. rumbleytumbley (on the dis) made the designs for me

Of course, they may want to keep their dresses on if they see other little girls dressed up

OH, the princess/pirate Mickey is great!

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I think I'm just going to get the Captain Mom/Dad/Kid shirts...we want to be comfortable!

Jen this trip is a Mom and Son Mother's day trip too! We are doing the P&PP on the 9th. We are doing the Mother's day brunch too. It's a little expensive but absolutely wonderful! Are you doing the brunch?

I am not sure if anyone is checking in with this thread anymore, but I wanted to celebrate that I got my P&PP tix in the mail yesterday

Also, I just ordered pirate costumes for me and DH

I am starting to get very excited! Not long now

Since I do scrapbooks, I'm thinking this one would be funny! And it's even lime green!

Got DD's costume last week- she will be a pirate girl. I'm still trying to decide what to wear. I'll probably just do the same generic pirate look I did for the MNSSHP last fall- navy capris, red T, bandana on my head, big gold hoops, and a big skull and crossbones temporary tattoo.

Count us in for May 9th! My best friend and I are taking our two four year old daughters to WDW from 5/7-12 and we will be attending the PNPP on May 9th!
