P & PD needed please

Rita, while I did not see that particular show, I have heard similar sentiments expressed.
Cheryl, you and Sarah are making a good decision to continue on with your lives - I can bet that Bob's father would have felt that way tool Life does go on, although our hearts do ache, but your mil may not show it to everyone else. She will deal with it in her own way/time.
What a great opportunity for Sarah to get a 4 yr tuition!! Bet on the ride there, you'll have plenty of time to chat and reminise.

Rita--that's great advice :)

Rob took his mom to lunch, hopefully they'll talk some.

Cheryl, I am so sorry for your family's loss. I agree, people handle the loss in different ways. Keep on eye on each of them to look for signs if and when it they may need a hug from you.

And here is one from me to you. You have a lot on your shoulders right now looking out for the family, make sure to take some time for yourself and keep up on your rest.:hug:

So sorry for your loss:grouphug: My grandfather died when I was 21, and my dsis was 17. It was very hard, and DSis found some school teachers very unsympathetic. I still miss him, and wish my boys had known him as he would have had so much fun with them - they are hard up for senior males as both my father and FIL passed early - FIL when I was expecting DS(18) and my dad when DS was 3 months:sad1:

Its all about remembering the good times, and being there when the "excitement" is over and reality starts hitting. Have you got a nice photo of them together? (Before he was ill)> Its nice to have one that you can put up, or keep in a drawer for when you're sad.

And as others have said, take time for yourself. Even if you just walk to a store to buy chocolate and eat it on the way back. Something for just you that helps you cope is important.

ETA - look at that! 9,000 posts and I nearly missed it: ;-)

I'm working on a photo collage :) and I love the chocolate idea!!
