P & P surprise

We are going to the April 16th PP Party. I would like to surprise my girls by having them open small "clues" and then the printable map for the party. Any suggestions for clues?

Also, I asked the girls if they could dress up as a pirate or princess which would they want to be. My DD5 would like to be a princess so that is easy since they have a couple dresses to choose from but DD8 would like to be a "girl pirate". Any suggestions for an easy, comfortable costume? Maybe just some accessories rather than a whole costume?

Last Halloween, Gymboree had an ADORABLE pirate girl costume. It was super cute and also looked comfortable. I tried to talk my 3 year old into it, but she wanted to be Cinderella! After recently going to the PPP, now she wants to be a pirate for Halloween this year! I would check on Ebay if you are interested, there is a good chance you could find one there.

We went to the party on 3/14 and it was the highlight of our trip! We started the day with an invitation from Prince Charming to the party and an invitation from the Fairy Godmother to attend the DTD BBB where all 3 of my girls were transformed into princesses, had naps and then partied all night. Absolutely a magical event! Hope you have a great time!

Also, if you are looking for just accessories and don't mind waiting until you get to the park, the store that you exit through after riding Pirates of the Carribean has TONS of pirate accessories that we spent a fair amount of time playing with!

Maybe get some of the Mcdonald happy meals toys for small clues. The boy ones were the pirate things and the girls princess stuff.

Maybe you could leave a pirate patch as a clue - easy and cheap!
