P.O.C. Oddity

While riding POC today with my nephew the ride broke down for approximately 20 minutes and there was a back up from the unload ramp to the "Pirate ship."

After repeated warnings that the ride may move at any moment it did..........backwards! All of the boats moved backwards approximately 15 - 20 feet.

I have never heard of or experienced this before. Anyone else?

What mechanism is strong enough to do this? Was it the weight of boats being rolled back off of the unload belt??????????

Not sure about your experience but when DH and I rode it back in October, it also broke down. It was down for approximately 10 minutes but it never started backwards. Not sure if it could be related.
