We have both restaurants in the area where I live - If I had to choose, it would be hands down - PF Chang's. The only reason I would go to The Rainforest Cafe is the atmosphere for the kids. If you are at Disney - you have WAY better atmosphere in the parks. PFC has much better food, IMHO.

A giant ripoff. The only reason to go is for the show ( animated animals )
it is basically bar food with an extremely high price tag.

Did you know that there is a Pei Wei (PF Changs counter service) just around the corner from DTD? We love Pei Wei, too.

I guess I'm in the minority. PF Chang's is something I can find here at home. The Rainforest Cafe is not. My family also really likes the food at the Rainforest Cafe. The portions are huge and we have never had a bad meal at any of the Rainforest Cafes we have been to. I'd rather do something while on vacation that I would normally not be able to do or see.

Although, this year we are skipping the Rainforest Cafe in favor of T-Rex. Both my husband and my son are big dinosaur fans and have been waiting a long time to go here.

Another vote for PF Chang. Went to Rainforest Cafe once. Expensive food and terrible service. PF Chang is much much better.

Personally, I like both restaurants. I would choose PF Changs however. Rainforest has typical fare that can be found at other restaurants easily whereas PF Changs is much more unique!

I don't mind the prices at Rainforest because they are on par with what I pay at chain restaurants where I live.

PF Chang's.

We have two Rainforest Cafe's here (one at Downtown Disney @ DLR) and another in a mall near our home.

We also have 3 PF Chang's near us. In the 6 years we've lived here, we have NEVER gone to RFC! We'd been previously at WDW and it's "okay" but certainly there are better places to get the same kind of food for less. The "show" terrifies my children too, so no reason to go there.

Rainforest was good many years ago but IMO has been going downhill for quite some time.
