I'm baaack!

Planning a big Disney trip for Sept 2015, but more on that later.

I have a question about Disney World tickets bought from travel agents here in Oz.

Can WDW tickets purchased here be linked to your MyDisneyExperience, along with on-site hotel reservations, in order to make Fastpass+ reservations 60 days out?

BTW, I am not buying a package.

Thanks

Dean

I can't say for sure but I imagine you'd only be getting a voucher from an Aussie travel agent and not actual tickets, so I don't think you would be able to link them. I'd probably be inclined to buy them from Disney World's website directly (or undercovertourist.com) to avoid any potential issues with FastPass+ reservations.

Yep. I just got an order from undercover tourist in the mail two days ago. It arrived about 3 days before the max shipping time date and even for post to Australia they do not charge. Proper ticket too, no voucher or anything like a travel agent would probably give you. I did check prices with my local flight centre... Alarming mark ups!

Yes, just to reinforce what others have said - Undercover Tourist do ship overseas and the shipping is free. I have used them myself.
The good thing about their prices compared to the theme parks themselves is that they also include tax. Make sure you factor that in when comparing prices.

Thanks everyone.

Still curious if Travel Agent bought tickets can be linked. I will update if I learn more.

well I suppose the trick will be to ask the TA if they will give you actual tickets or just a voucher.
I've never bothered using a TA for WDW and have bought my tickets direct. I have found the barcode scanner in the Disney App worked perfectly for my uploading my AP into MDE

Our park tickets were bought as part of the package. We did but Halloween and Christmas Party tickets which were snail mailed to out TA. We were able to add them to our MDE. We did have an issue with one of the tickets loading properly on one of the Magic Bands but I suspect that was just a glitch rather than not being able to do it. Under a year for you now ! Exciting!
