PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE note that these coffees and hot chocolate contain "ganoderma lucidum extract."
This is an herbal supplement derived from the Reishi mushroom. According to the Sloan Kettering web site, it is "used as an immune stimulant by patients with HIV or cancer."
The SK site also states: "Theoretically, Reishi can interfere with the actions of immunosuppressants, anticoagulants, and certain chemotherapeutic agents."
Whether there's enough of the stuff in this coffee to have any of these effects, who knows? But I came close to ordering it before I realized it's inappropriate for someone with lupus, for example.
