If you plan to go for a week in the summer every year, you can optimize your points by trying to plan your trip in the first 10 days of June or last 2 weeks of August, when the point requirements are lower. To do a week in the summer, you may have to do a split stay, although you could book at the 7 month mark and use all of the points to book at a single resort. Some people with split resorts will bank and borrow to use the two different resorts every other year for a trip (e.g. Use 200 points for BLT one year then 100 points for SSR the next year). This strategy gives you the 11 month booking advantage for the trip, if there are enough points.
You can get the biggest bang for your points by using your points at OKW, which generally has the lowest point requirements of all of the resorts for the various room categories. It is unlikely that you could get the value rooms at AKV, as these are few in number and usually are booked before the 7 month window opens. This approach, of course, defeats the purpose of owning at BLT, and the extra cost of owning points at that resort.
Realistically, for what you want to do (at least a week and a long weekend every year), you need more points. The points required for rooms at BLT are so high compared to other resorts, there is very little you can do with your 100 points if you want a week at BLT in the summer.
