Owner's Locker

Other than DVC members, is there a discount for Owner's Locker available? Does anyone have a membership? What do you think? How do you like it?

I am DVC and we have had one for 5 years and we LOVE it. I have not heard of any other discounts for it besides the waived DVC membership fee.

We have been going down 3 times per year and leave over 100 items stored in ours. That said we just have the basic membership which only includes 1 delivery per member use year so we only get it delivered on our longer family trips. DH and I are going down this week for a quickie 4 night trip and we're skipping the locker delivery this time (it is a $25 del. fee for additional deliveries per year with the basic membership). We're able to pack light and get by without a few things since it's just the 2 of us and we're mainly just going for F&W and MNSSHP...but as I am packing I already miss it!! So many more little items to remember to bring. But just didn't feel the need to have to get it again this time. We got it delivered on our summer trip and will get it for our January trip.

I like our locker. It sure it really makes financial sense, but it's to just have stuff there waiting for is like coffee filters for the big dvc coffee pots and laundry detergent, bandaids, etc.

Please do a search for some Owner's Locker threads on the Dis DVC board, there is one currently active that might be helpful to you. We love our OL (we are DVC members) mainly because we can travel with a carry-on each due to all the stuff in the OL. The bins hold more items than you might think and you can keep a wide variety of stuff in them. The service is excellent and bell services can help you get it in & out of your resort room. BTW you get an on-line inventory to keep track of what's in your OL, or things that might need to be added or replaced. I'd say if you go to WDW more than once a year and you are not driving, it's well worth it. I don't keep up with discounts but would be happy to answer any other questions.
