Owners Locker

Not to sound dumb, but what is an "owners locker"? Our guide didn't say anything about that.

Your guide didn't say anything about it because it's a private company that is here on the DIS boards. They store and return your things to you via a purple locker that is delivered to your resort when you are there. Click on the link http://www.disboards.com/announcement.php?f=119&a=222 and you will get some more information about it. There is also a discount for DIS members.

They are great and their communication is kick butt.

There are definite schools of thought about the OL program throughout various threads on the DIS, but here's my two cents - from a family who flies to WDW. It's a neat concept, and great way to be able to store various "comfort items" for your vacation home. There are initial start up costs for filling your locker, if you don't already have duplicates of items that you would like to leave in the locker - but you don't have to break the bank to fill it. The offer advertised here on the DIS, when spread out over a 12 month period is ridiculously low. We've found it to be quite worthwhile to provide us with various items that we don't HAVE to have with us on vacation - but certainly are NICE to have have and make our WDW space feel more like home. I remember the days growing up when my parents would load up the car with all kinds of things to take with us on vacation to the cabin in the mountains every year - this essentially does the same thing, without having to actually haul it with us each time.
