I've had an owner's locker for a while now, its been terrific! Made my travel down to WDW much more convenient. But I still drag my sticks down and back on a plane. I tried Ship Sticks, but the price didn't make sense based on how many different courses I would play on a trip. So I put my sticks in a hardcase and pray the Airline doesn't loose them.

For those that use OL for storing your clubs, or a second set, How has your experience been? Do you store them in a hard case or a soft case with them? Does bell services hold them for you or do you keep them in your room?

Thanks All in advance for your help and feedback.

I can only speak as a golfer, but I'd never have a second set that I would leave in Orlando. I just use a ClubGlove carrier when I travel with my sticks. Yea, the airlines can lose but I've always had pretty good luck and never had them lost.

I just don't like the idea of a "second" set unless it was identical, I'd rather just rent a set if I wasn't going to bring my own.

I feel the same way. If I'm going to use a different set on vacation I might as well just rent clubs. I'm not nearly good enough to care about having high end clubs or clubs that are custom fitted for me or any of that, so rentals are fine. If I did care I'd just bring my main set.

I haven't done it, but would totally do it. I would much rather have a second bag there than check mine on a plane.

But my caveat is that I'm left-handed, so rental is not an option, because rental places almost never have decent left-handed club options.

I've tried renting a few times and they are nothing like my set(s). The stiff shafts are more like flex and they are made for average height and I'm taller then the average mouse. :D So I'm looking at my previous set that was custom to me and thinking rather than try and sell them to just leave them in FL for use when I travel down.

Thanks for your input.

If your current set is also custom (harder to replace), already have a 2nd set and you mentioned you play multiple courses - seems like you would get good utility out of a Golf OL.

We have a set of clubs that are stored at Owners Locker. Been doing that since 2007 when Owners Locker first started accepting clubs. Since we go two or three times a year, it is ideal to avoid all the hassles of getting clubs to WDW and back home.

For such storage, we just put the clubs (and club holder bag) into a soft golf bag that covers the entire set. Never had any problems. As with the regular owners locker, Owners Locker delivers them the day we arrive and picks them up the day we leave. We have them brought to the room by Bell Services the same time as the regular locker is brought because we usually put some extra things in the bag for storage that do not go into the already full regular Owners Locker.
