OWNER REFERRAL?

Hi,

I almost bought a DVC unit at OKW (before they changed the name) about 7 years ago, but changed my mind. Big mistake.

Now I am reconsidering, but I wonder if they have those discounts like other time shares if you are referred by an owner.

Doe it exist? How does it work?

No discounts to buyers for referrals, if you buy direct from Disney, whoever referred you may get a few Disney Dollars to spend, but that depends on what state they live in--Texas doesn't allow it. If you want to buy at OKW your only option is to try resales, like Timeshare Store (a sponsor of this site.)

Read through some of the other posts in this board before you decide whether to purchase from Disney or resale...then decide what is best for you (which resort, etc.) Good luck!

OKW is sold out so you would have to buy from a resale agent. You can buy VWL from Disney,but they won't give you a discount, only a referral credit to whomever refers you if they reside in a state that allows such things.

I don't know what the new resorts are even like. I have been there several times over the years, and I LOVE the wilderness lodge. However, I didn' t even know there were dvc villas there! Which ones are sold by Disney? Which are sold out?

You can get alot of info by scanning this board. Right now the only WDW onsite property for sale is VWL. OKW and BWV are sold out, but available via resale. HH and VB are still available from Disney. Beach Club Villas is the newest resort being built but won't be open until fall 2002.
