Own Direct+Resale, what happens if I sell Direct

Wondering as it pertains to current rules relating to AP discount perks

We bought resale, then added on @ another resort, but same UY & same master contract since purchased directly thru DVC

Later, bought a 2nd resale @ AKV with different UY, generating a new contract #

All transactions were before the change in perks

Considering adding on @ resale #3 AKV, same UY

If we decide to sell the direct purchase, will we be still be entitled to the DVC perks going forward?

As long as you have resale points that were purchased prior to 4/4/2016, you will get a blue DVC member id card and will be eligible for all perks.

If the resale purchases were after 3/21/2011, those resale points can only be used for DVC Resorts & RCI Exchanges.

If all of your resale purchases were after 4/4/2016, then you would need a direct purchase to get any member perks (besides TOTWL, Pool Hopping, and DVD Rentals).

No, all long before that date.

Thinking even if i do add on to my AKV UY, it will be a different subcontract so those points wouldn't be eligible for cruising. Since the swap isn't cost effective for us, have never utilized that way anyway.
