Oh no .. SO sorry about your sisters baby. I'll keep her and your family in my thoughts and prayers. My own daughter is 30 weeks pregnant with my granddaughter so this really hits close to home.

WE LEAVE ON SUNDAY!!! We are so excited!! Our wish granters confirmed that they are coming on Saturday morning with our airline tickets and debit card.

The weather appears to be in the high 70's the entire 10 days we are there. I'm hoping it will be warm enough to enjoy the splash pad and pool at GKTW but cool enough to throw on a jacket in the evenings at the parks.

I'll post pictures from Owen's little get together with the wish granters Saturday morning for sure. He keeps telling everyone .. TWO days til my Make A Wish!!

On a sad note.. my sister went in for her 20 week ultrasound on Tuesday to find out the sex of the baby. Her husband was with her at the time and the baby's heartbeat had stopped beating. She has been admitted to the hospital for three days trying to deliver her sweet baby. It has been a heartbreaking and emotional few days. Please keep her in your prayers as she delivers this precious little one and grieves. We've been taking care of my 2 yr old niece while they are in the hospital.

I am so sorry to read of your sister. We lost a baby at 14 weeks and it was devasting.

On a MUCH happier note, I am so excited for you and your trip! It will be simply AMAZING!!!! Store up EVERY MINUTE in your heart!

WE LEAVE TOMORROW!!!! Owen's wish granters came by this morning to bring us our itinerary, debit card and airline ticket information. They were so awesome! They brought muffins from Paradise Bakery, our favorite!! We talked about GKTW and signed a release for our extended stay. They said the "shuttle" will pick us up tomorrow morning. Then they will meet us at the airport to send us off. How cool are they?!

The expense debit cards was more than generous and we have no idea how we will ever need that much $$. The good news is that the leftover $$ goes back to Make A Wish funds.

They explained about the GKTW greeter in Orlando and said we will have a MiniVan. We have emergency contact info for everybody involved and I finally feel ready!!

I spent the week running errands, cleaning house and getting all our ducks in a row. Today we are packing! I have four suitcases lined up on our bedroom floor and they are overflowing with all the amazing Big Give items!! We are so very grateful for everything and I have had to choke back tears several times when I see all of the love filling those suitcases.

Thanks to everyone on the boards for all your knowledge, support and kindness. I'm sure I will post from our trip and you can expect one heck of a trip report when I get back!! I don't scrapbook anymore, so I journal everything on our family blog and print large blog books each year.

If I don't get back on here before tomorrow.. see you all in ten days!!

Thank you all so much for your prayers for my sister. She is still in labor. It has been since Tuesday and her body is making slow progress (dialated to a 4). She has had every induction medicine imaginable and her body is just slow to respond. She is emotionally drained, but the docs and nurses have been amazing.

Can't wait to meet you guys. And so excited to hear about your trip when you get back. I hope you have an amazing time filled with lots and lots of memories!

I can't imagine how hard this much be for your sister. I pray her body progresses so she can move on to the next step in her grieving. I'm so sorry she's facing this. I'm glad she has supportive Dr's and nurses.

We are having the most amazing time!! I have already started our Trip Report, but am waiting on pictures. We have our two final days coming up with the Magic Kingdom tomorrow, and Hollywood Studios on Tuesday!

We received two big gives at GKTW and they were a total surprise!! I will post those pictures shortly as well. We did receive our Merry Grinchmas outfits and Tye Dye Mickey shirts.. I just wanted to let you know they arrived safetly!! We have gotten more comments and "where can we buy those" from all the amazing big gives!! Everyone wanted Kamryn's Grinchmas pants and the Epcot shirts today were a HUGE hit!! We are going to rock the tye dye at Magic Kingdom tomorrow.

We have taken over 1000 photos and 200 on the photopass so far!!

GKTW was amazing and we got a corner, riverview room at POFQ. So much pixie dust has come our way it's crazy and I can't wait to share with you all. Keep posted. I will get DAY 1 posted on Thursday when we arrive home!!! I plan to do one post a day for 10 days (each day of our trip) leading up to Christmas!!

Can't wait to hear from you when you get back! The FB posts have been so awesome- love that you all are having the experience that you are. I can't wait to pick your brain- looks like we'll have about 2 months before our trip- can't believe it is really going to happen!!

We are home!! Wierd incident... last night, after our long flight home, I had pain in my left arm. It continually got worse and it was too painful to move my fingers or wrist. Then it started swelling up. Random. I ran to urgent care and the xrays showed no broken bones. She sent me to the ER, and after a battery of tests, we confirmed it was a strained muscle. It just got severely inflammed. I didnt injure it... so who knows? My good hand works and I have a wrist guard to keep it immobilized. I am icing it and stretching it out every hour. I must be getting old! Ha.

On a positive note...I just ordered my photopass cd and have my 1000 photos uploading into lightroom now. The trip report is in progress and day 1 should be posted tonight. I want to get it all done in the next week so I dont forget anything.

A little spoiler...

We were at Hollywood Studios on our last day and while in line for star tours, I asked about a darth vader meeting area. She said.. he only comes out for the jedi training.

When we got off the ride, there were three managers waiting for us to exit and they took us outside. They said to come back in two hours to watch the next jedi training and that they can't promise anything.

We watched all but 5 minutes of the 4:00 jedi training when the manager came and took us inside star tours through a different route. All of a sudden we saw two storm troopers, followed by Darth Vader himself.. coming around the corner. DV handed Owen a red, autographed light saber, and Owen was starstruck! He got down and had a private greet with him and the storm troopers. That made his day!!!

This was just one of many surprises!
