Owens Trip

Let me start by saying Owens trip is Sept. 14th to the 20th. His wish was of course Disney World. We met Owen when he was 3, fell in love and adopted him. He was burnt 98% of his body and struggles daily. But he does so with a smile and a zest for life. He will be taking along his siblings whom are both 11. We are preparing ourselves for the trip...looking forward to GKTW. So much to do so little time...a little overwhelming. Help appreciated!!

First let me say Congrats on the trip!!! You all will have the time of your lives!!!! Owen sounds like an amazing boy!!! Kids can be so resilient!!! Sounds like you all are very blessed!!!! If you have any questions, ask away!!!! I, personally, love reading the trip reports!!!! It helps prepare you. One think I would recommend is pack light!! We didn't wanna check any luggage. Our airline allowed a reg carryon and a small one. So we packed accordingly! Each villa has a washer and dryer, and they provide laundry soap! Also, bring an extra duffel or suitcase! You will need it to bring everything home in!!!

Packing is done...flying out Sunday 14th...told the kids they only have 2 more sleeps til we leave

This trip comes at a good time. 5 days after we return home...Owen has neck surgery and will be down for at least 6 weeks....than on limited activity.
