I am a FL resident (Tampa Bay Area) and I have family living in Orlando.
My DH and I want to take our 7yr old and 5yr old to the Animal Kingdom on THIS SAT OCT 21 and then head over to the Magic Kingdom for the evening. (leaving our baby with Nana for the day/evening) My dd is turning 7 and she always wants to do Disney instead of having a birthday party
.
I know for us to do a fl resident one day MYW ticket for each of us would be about $305. That would be simple - right?
The confusing part is - I HATE PAYING THAT MUCH FOR ONE DAY! It seems like I would get a much better price to get more 'days' now and use them later. Am I just getting in over my head here? I mean I do have a 4th child due in Feb - so I have to be careful not to pay for days I may never use.
The one thing I know we would PROBABLY do is Epcot in December for the Candle Light Processional and Liberty Tree Singers (I used to sing in that as a high school student when it was at MK and I would love take my DH to see it - and maybe the kids. LOL
I thought about getting a 3-day MYW + (no-expiration $15 each ticket/park hopping option - $22.50 each ticket) and it would cost more - but at least I would have those extra two days to use at a decent price and there would be no rush to redeem them.
Keep in mind - the gate price of a Florida Resident Seasonal Pass is $237.50 for adults and $209.81 for kids, including tax. That is very tempting, but I am not sure if it is better to go with non-expiring tickets in our situation.
OK - I am really going nuts considering my options. I hope this post is not to confusing but I really need some guidance. Disney Guru's please help me decide what to do!!! fish:
Thanks in advance!
