Help! My head is spinning with Windsor Hills Options! :confused3 We are looking for the following:
*3 Bedroom Townhouse with splash pool (too many to choose from!)
*would prefer end unit
*living area with more than just a sofa would be great (4 adults, 2 children)
*living area with nice TV would be a plus
*1 disney/kid themed room would be a plus, rest of rooms only request is comfortable
*don't need any baby gear - girls will be 6 and 9
*looking to go Dec 18 to Dec 25
I can't believe how much there is to choose from!! Of course we would like to keep costs down (I know, don't go during Christmas week, right? but that is our only option as of now) - gets confusing with sometimes a cleaning fee, sometimes no - sometimes a pool heat fee, sometimes no - sometimes a second family surcharge, sometimes no, etc.! Please inundate me with any suggestions and personal opinions for Windsor Hills Townhomes. Thanks, Dis'ers!:goodvibes

We are right there with you. :scared1: We have a family of 5 and our daughter will be 13 when we go and we have decided it would be great for each of our kids to have their own space. I have found that vrbo.com has been helpful. It's hard when you inquire about the different ones and the prices are so spread apart. We have found one as cheap as $650 and as expensive as $1600. We are going in late Oct so I know the prices are a little different. If you do a search on this site for Windsor Hills you will find a little more info. Happy Shopping. I hope you find what you are looking for. It is an exhausting experience to find the perfect place.

My system is to look on VRBO.com and make a request from windsorhillsrent.com. I then start a list (spreadsheet in my case) noting the listing number, their price and any particular notes about the ones I am considering. Then I start narrowing it down. Maybe their price is too high, maybe I don't like the location of their townhouse, maybe I don't like that their pool faces someone else's pool, maybe I don't care for the decor in the pictures - know what I mean? This last time, it came down to 2 or 3, and I just showed my son the pictures of the kids' room and let him pick :goodvibes

Picking a privately owned home is a lot easier when you remember that you don't need "the perfect one", you just need "a really good one." Spend a few days getting quotes, and then pick from among the ones that meet your needs, without worrying if something might be just a little bit better.

The good news is that this is pretty easy. There are many wonderful options out there---it's hard to go wrong.

I'm in the same situation for April of this year. I also want to be near the main pool.

Check out 5min2disney. He has 4 to choose from. We chose the fantasmic which is an end unit. No themed bedroom but price is right and George has been great to deal with. He's on here sometimes.

I always do an inquiry on windsorhillsrent.com and then sort through the emails to look for things we want and the prices.
We look for certasin things such as curtains in the bedrooms, keypad entry so we don't have to check in at a another place and being able to change the thermostat if need be as well as your basic requirements.

I second 5min2disney. His rentals are top of the line! Very Very nice to deal with and you will feel like you are in a five star hotel suite with the beds etc.

I just got back yesterday, we stayed in Storytime 1. Rented through storytime orlando. We had our own heated splash pool, not an end unit. It was very quiet, only one night did we hear any noise from our neighbors. It was very clean and had some cleaning products and toliet paper.

If you check out the website it will have pictures and prices. :thumbsup2: Let me know if you have any other questions about it.:)

Oh my goodness!!!! I went to windsorhillsrent.com to do an inquiry thinking it would be simple to sort through all the responses and WOW I can't tell you how many responses I received...It was unreal. I guess that's a good thing. The prices for us vary also since we are going in October. I received one for $575 total for a 3 bdroom condo and am worried that some of these may be too good to be true :confused3. We want to stay off-site this time due to my children (3 of them) all being teenaged. We want more room :).

Now I think I'm going to have to make a spreadsheet just to sort all my choices out. Sometimes I don't mind paying a little extra for a good reputation though......
