Curious, why you would need to go below 68. That should be plenty cool . Probably more to do with the fact that you cant crank it down as low as you want rather than it being uncomfortable.

Here is how I bypassed the settings:
Press the Power & Down Temp Control Buttons at the same time
The display will show BP (bypass)
This turns off the sensor setting
Then set the temp to what you want
You may have to do this every 24 hours as they automatically reset to the sensor.
Doesn't the room get warmer than what the thermostat is set at when there is no activity after so long? That's how it used to be at Disney. So even if you have the thermostat set at 65 and leave the room all day (or sleep at night) the temps will creep back up.
Add me to the "override the sensor" club because I like coming "home" at night to a cool room after a long, hot day in the parks.

Carirae said:I'm here now at AOA and it's been in the mid 80s. I tried the directions but it doesn't seem to be working. Darn. We did call the front desk to complain about it for the 2nd time and she said she would send someone over again. I tried a variety of buttons to do the bypass but it just wasn't working.![]()
