Overnight Birth Certificates?

Does anybody know of anywhere (online/by phone/whatever) where one can get a birth certificate the next day?

This is not for us but a friend of mine needs one in a big hurry and I knew if anyone knew it would be you guys?

So, any next day delivery on Birth Certificates?

YIKES, that's tough! I would try www.vitalchek.com -- they are FAST but I don't know if they can do overnight.

It has been many years but I remember being able to get one at my local city hall but that was in the city I was born. I don't know if it is possible still or available where you are located but worth a call.

You can pick it up in person in the county in which you were born. Otherwise, call the state department of statistics in the state in which you were born and ask for their assistance in getting a birth certificate "rushed." Typical time to get a birth certificate by mail are 2 to 6 weeks.
