Shasses - During busy times of the year, restaurants will turn away walk-ins. I saw it last Oct. at LeCellier and last December and this past May at Brown Derby. I also saw it at Teppanyaki on Christmas Eve.
Saw it? Heck, I experienced it - and not even at a particularly busy time! Surrounding Labor Day (yeah, I know, not extremely unbusy

) I could NOT get a PS for Le Cellier or Cinderella's Royal Table (for dinner, yet!) in advance, could not get a PS while I was there either by phone or with the assistance of Lobby Concierge, could not get a PS over the next few days by presenting myself at the respective podiums, could not get walk-up seating... This year, no problem. CRT's menu change means I'm no longer interested, and I've had an ADR for Le Cellier since April...

Plus by cutting in line I can possibly squeeze in one more ride or attraction before try to rush to our one of 4 ADRs. I've got a cell phone so I can call last minute to cancel.
Well, why waste valuable cell phone minutes? Why not just tell the Host/ess where you DO end up eating to cancel all your other ADRs? Or, call those restaurants later from your resort room and tell them, "Yeah, thanks, we decided to eat someplace better; you can cancel our several-hours-overdue reservation now..."

Oh yes.
"Instant Karma's gonna get you . . . "
And if not instant Karma, then maybe Earl Hickey? Or am I not allowed to refer to an NBC show on a Disney message board?

I've practically given up on Le Cellier - perhaps if those selfish multi-reservation people would play nice I might get it!
Just for the record, and I KNOW you're not talking about me

- while I did temporarily have more than one ADR for a couple of nights of my vacation, I had only ONE for Le Cellier and NO other ADRs for that entire day!
