We loved our stateroom host and main server - they really made thevtrip special for us. For a fan of 4, on a 4 day cruise the suggested tip was $64. We left them both $100. Did we overdo it?

I don't think you can 'overdo' tipping....it's a great way to show how much you appreciate your excellent service! And, I'm sure the CM's would never complain!!

It is a purely personal decision. I have over tipped in the past and also under tipped. If I feel as though the service is excellent then I will tip more and if I think it has not been up to standard then I will tip less. On one occassion I did not tip the assistant server anything as he was so very rude and completley hopeless. He was the worst employee of a cruise that I have ever encountered and I have been on many cruises.
