Not too much. Trying to get through the one day snow and 5 day deep freeze cycle. On a positive note, it looks as if we are on the verge of booking our August trip. The downside of that is the exchange rate has teken a beating the last few days.
Let us know when you book, so we can celebrate with you!
We can talk out loud about it this time, since Declan knows about it.
I don't see how you guys do it up there. We only had a week of bitter cold, and I am more than ready for spring. Last Friday, it was 1 degree. Today, it is supposed to be 61. It's going to go back to the 30-40 range tomorrow, which is more normal for us, but from 1 to 61 in one week's time just shows you how wacky our weather can be.
Great Fantasyland updates! Looks like a lot of fun.
Jill-those 4D baby pictures are so cool. I wish those would have been around a few years ago, when I had my kids. Oh well!
Can't wait for more.
Back when I had kids, you didn't have an ultrasound unless there was a perceived problem. So, even though it would have been cool to have a picture like that, under the circumstances, I'm glad I didn't need one. I had healthy babies, except for jaundice with Trent, so I felt very, very blessed.
Are you going to put up pictures of your trip?
oh, i hope not! i like the block party but i think one of those types of parades is enough. when we saw it in december we got a seat right near the hat and we ended up watching the second time they stopped. by the time we were done watching that it was almost 3:40 and the parade started at 3:00! i wouldn't want to be at the very end for the 3rd showing because you wouldn't be done watching until 4:00. it just takes more time if you're not on the first stop and takes a huge chunk out of your day - more time than a parade should!
Yeah, I'm not too keen on the idea of another stopping parade either, but I guess we'll learn to adjust to what we get. We saw the Michael/Sulley part of BPB last time, so if Kay and I see it in March, I'll try to get at a Toy Story stop and get different pictures. Brooklynn would like seeing Buzz and Woody.
Congratulations to you both Jill and MeMom!

You can tell that baby is gonna be just
gorgeous! That technology is absolutely amazing! It must bring you such happiness to know that your little one is doing great and is right on schedule! Thanks for sharing it with us!
It is reassuring to see a healthy baby and to hear a good report from the doctor. I look forward to spoiling another little princess. Trent said he'll have to get prepared to toss two little girls up and down and 'round and 'round now. I can already picture them both giggling like crazy!
He's staying home...But next year (2010) we are planning a summer trip with the grandparents, my uncle, and the little guy so he'll be with then!
The ultrasound pics are amazing. I'm so happy for both you MeMom AND Jill!
Well, then, maybe we'll meet at the hippo again in 2010!
Great pictures! I'm sorry she didn't get to ride Cinderella's horse. Hopefully next time.

MeMom, try to use the word grotto in conversation once today. Do it for me and then report back, ok?
I love the ultrasound pictures Jill. I'm sure she's going to be a beautiful babe!
She didn't care about the horse. That was more just for a picture than anything. Hopefully, she will ride that horse and lots of others many, many times in her Disney years ahead!
I thought about the grotto thing. Maybe I'll teach that word to my third graders. I love to introduce new words to them, and what would be better than introducing a Disney word?!?!?
how about MeMom could say somehting like, "Grotto go out and pick up some groceries for dinner"!
See, if I had said that, my kids would roll their eyes, shake their heads,
and think it was funny all at the same time! I so appreciate you doing that, so that they'll see I'm not alone in some of my um... unique thinking
Jill, your ultrasound pictures are beautiful! She looks like a sweet little girl!
She does look like a sweetie, doesn't she? I think it's cute that she is 'smiling'.
Ooooh, how precious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the sweet babies smile!!!!!
Me, too. I hope it's indicative of what her personality will be.
I do. I look at her several times a day now.
Signing on! Just had to let you know that you have a beautiful family...I have enjoyed reading about your adventures. That 4D sonogram is amazing. I wish that had been available when I had my children. We had no ultasounds or anything so they were all a surprise. I so would have done the 4D thing!
We're always happy to have new members of our crew! We hope you'll feel very at home and comfortable here.
I didn't know what my babies were, either. At first, they had said Jill was a boy all day while I was at the hospital. I guess they were so sure that they didn't bother to look.
They plopped her up and said, "There he is!"
It took a few seconds, and I so clearly remember the anesthesiologist (sp?) behind my left shoulder saying, "I think it's a girl, y'all."
Yeah, people around here say y'all.
Even highly paid anesthesiologists.
Sure enough, she was a girl.
In my opinion, she was the most loved little girl who had ever arrived on this planet!
For several days, I stood at the door of my house in the mornings holding her, watching cars going up and down the road going about their daily routines, and I was standing there thinking, "How can they not know that the entire universe has changed with this baby I am holding?"
I was overwhelmed with how much I loved that baby. I knew I would love 'it', before it was born, but when she got here, the love I felt for her just blew me away!
That's why I get so excited for people having their first baby, and I always hope they feel that same awesome, incredible, wonderful, fabulous, and everything else that means great, love that I did.
Grotto go to school!
But, hey, it is Friday.
Better yet, it is payday Friday.
Have a great day, all!
