Many Disney friends greeted the Thanksgiving Day crowd.
We made our way to Fantasyland.
I took pictures of things in the castle as I walked through.
Dumbo is always the first ride when we're there at rope drop.
When we're not there early, we normally don't stand in line for it.
Can you tell Brooklynn is waving in this one?
Ride over.
Someone else's turn.
You know the drill, if you've followed us enough.
Next up, Peter Pan.
I think I took zero pictures in there this time, but just sat back and enjoyed the ride.
To the Carrousel.
From the line.
Brooklynn is learning from others, I guess her school friends, how to be scared. She's never been afraid of anything at Disney World, but at this age, she showed signs of a little reluctance here and there. Just a little, but you could tell a difference in the unwavering
'I'm game for anything' attitude of her younger days.
I think this was the day that she decided we wouldn't go on Snow White because she was probably sleeping.
One of the horses.
Brooklynn chose this one.
I'm not sure if this was the time Jill was headed toward the Cinderella horse but another little girl got on it before her. That might have been this summer. I can't remember. That's fine, though. Brooklynn has ridden it a couple of times before, so it's great for someone else to have that special ride. Brooklynn doesn't care one way or the other.
I decided Brooklynn should race this lady.
It was neck in neck the whole way,
but I think the lady beat Brooklynn by a nose.
The lady never knew they were racing, by the way.
She was waving to her family the whole time.
It was kind of cute.
Ariel's Grotto.
I can't think of many other times in life I say the word
grotto unless I'm here.
It wasn't open quite yet, so I went to take another picture while the others waited in line.
I chose to take a picture of cute little Pinocchio and his
haus.
It was time to get in line for Ariel.
Brooklynn can just about recite the entire script of The Little Mermaid.
The two of them discussed things.
Sliding down off the rock.
That's it for tonight.
I hope you enjoyed our short jaunt through Fantasyland.
