Over the river and through the FUN!

I'll let you know when the next one is. What New York specialty will you be bringing?

I will bring NY bagels. they r the best. or NY Cheesecake. Pizza would get ruined on the way but also nothing like it.

Happy New Year to all of you.

Great update and pics.

I have never been in the confectionery. Maybe in June.

The Christmas performers were everywhere. it was nice.

never seen the Castle show yet.

I need a few more trips.

thanks, memom! you're so sweet! i hope you have all those things in the new year too. :goodvibes

Awww, MeMom only you would think of putting your sentiment in pics, so sweet. Brooklynn as a baby, too precious. I know Isabella will be as beautiful. How great is it to know you will have a new baby in '09!!!:cloud9: I wish you every happiness in the coming year and no accidents (Drew ;) ). Love to your whole family, Lana

 I was watching the swaying palms at Poly this morning, thanks for the heads up on the live cam. I thought of us sitting on the swing together discussing the day and eating Tonga Toast. How wonderful.

Happy New Year Memom! I ended 2008 on a good note. I was watching the Disney shows on the Travel channel...until I fell asleep dreaming of Disney! And started 2009 on a good note when DH and I were watching tv and the new disney commerical with the buy 4 get 3 free came on...he seemed to think that was kind of a good deal...so hopefully they will still offer that deal in a couple of years so we can take Caleb on his first trip!

Happy New Year MeMom and family. I love the way you said it with pictures.

Looks nice and quiet in Liberty Square that morning!

Wonder how packed it is there already?

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE, MEMOM, JILL, JOHN, BROOKLYN, DREW, AND TRENT!

Dave at the Poly said this was the most crowded they had ever seen it in all the years they've been going, so it is/was probably bumper to bumper all over the parks.

We didn't get to see any of the entertainment our MK day since it was downpour raining when we came down Main St which I really missed. It makes me feel "at Home". My DD really loved them last time.

We got the Gingerbread Man and Christmas stocking cookies, Yummy! Plus we got the Castle Throw, it is very soft and warm. I am really glad we got it.

On the next to the last day the kids said that they wanted one of the balloons. And then asked if they could take it home on the plane. :rotfl2:

I meant to bring home gingerbread boys to put in the freezer and have on Christmas Day, but I never did.

I wish I would have gotten the other throw - the Mickey and Minnie by the fireplace one.

memom (and everyone else who's interested) - sorceror mickey has a website up where he has both his stream and mike's stream on the same page!

(i removed the link because someone hacked into the stream page and disabled the chat and banned everyone. nice! so if you want to know the website just PM me.)

loved the main street pics, by the way. makes me wish i was there right now! 2 more years.

Sorceror Mickey is going to do Illuminations sometime in the next few days, so be on the lookout.

Love the Main Street pics! And the huge Mickey head pretzel...yum!!!

I could go for a handful of white chocolate-covered pretzels right now.

Memom thanks for the webcam link - I've been hooked on it! Good thing work is quiet today!
Love all the pictures - you had Liberty Square to yourself!!

It's so peaceful to just watch the palm trees swaying against the bright blue sky.

That castle throw is beautiful! And wow @ all the sweets. The Mickey gingerbread guy is so cute!

I just checked that webcam during daylight for the first time. What a view! It's such a difference from where I am--cold and snowing, but it's not supposed to be much, just 5-8 inches. All the snow from the previous storm melted, thank goodness.

Happy New Years eve to you and your family!

You can make it through your snowy days, now, since you're going to Disney World next month!

Great pictures MeMom! I have never seen a double decker on Mainstreet before. I love all the street entertainment that Disney does at the parks. I could take an entire day and just go from skit to skit watching.

I love that Alice in Wonderland tea set too. If I ever have a little girl I think I just might have to get her that...and we'll have regular tea parties! ;)

The Mickey wreaths are so awesome! I'm really surprised you hadn't found that wreath in the real world. ;)

All the sweets look soooooo yummy. The pictures of the windows are fantastic too, I really hadn't ever taken notice of them. But, I think I will make a point to do that in January.

The throw is beautiful! I wish I had seen it back in November, I would now be a proud owner.

I'm with ya on the balloon pictures too - they really "scream" MK to me.

And thank you for the link to the streaming video! It's very neat!!!! I am looking forward to the fireworks tonight. :yay:

If you ever want to have a tea party, you can borrow Brooklynn. She's all about the prissiness, so she would love it!

No pretzel Mickey wreaths out here. I did see the green ones at the Disney Store, but even on sale, I was less than impressed with them.

I loved ur WS dinner. I love the entertainment on Main Street. It always amuses me

It's good to take the time to pay attention to all the little things instead of just rushing around from ride to ride.

We got your card. Thanks for thinking of us! I hope you had a nice Christmas up there in the cold north.

Great pics MeMom.

I was one of the many that stayed up to watch te fireworks last night. It was even later here (12:50 am). I hope to watch again tonight.

They were incredible. We might be at Disney World next NYE. (Hoping for our girl trip to include that day.) Too bad I can't afford a Poly room, so I wouldn't have to wait for a bus to go back to the room.

Hi Memom. I am still reading along just don't have time lately to write anything. Thanks for the info about the live feed. I am going to stay up tonight and watch them. Hope 2009 is filled with many blessing for you and your family.

Good to know you're still out there. I understand about not being able to respond. I've seen a few interesting trip reports, but I don't want to get wrapped up in new ones until some of the old ones end, because it gets to be too much. I wish I had time for all of them!

Glad you enjoyed the live feed. I'd love for us to do that someday, although it would be from a much less exciting location, unfortunately. It would be cool to take a live feed into the parks.

pixiedust: HAPPYNEWYEARpixiedust:

I wish I could watch the fireworks from Poly tonight with everyone but I`m on my way out to see a co workers band play at a little bar. Have a great evening! See you in the New Year! CHEERS!!!

I'm sure the band was fun - good times with good friends is important!

Hi Memom....yaaaaa Punkin and I were yelling for ya...the chat was a little weird since some people were really obnoxious. I watched a bit of the light parade too. I was just dreaming about being there :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

Some people were ridiculous on there - just annoying. I wish there was a way to exclude their pointless and/or repetitive comments.

I just love all of your pics....it seemed like such a beautiful clear day! I especially love the way these two are looking at each other. He is VERY handsome, dont you think ;) ?

Awesome pics...I wish I had time to walk around and take pics...perhaps in Feb I can take some like you do. I tell you what, when we move to FL and I go every weekend, I may get a really nice camera and take pics for all of the Disney starved folks like myself....:rotfl: I don't even think the people who design and set up all this stuff have pics like this of the place. You could really make a whole Disney website out of all of your pics......

I saw many handsome CMs down there of all ages! :)
Maybe my Prince Charming is down there somewhere!

Happy New Year to you as well MeMom!

And to all of our friends up there tapping maple syrup, we wish you the same.
My New Year's resolution is that I will swear off poutine.
NO poutine!
I have 100% confidence I will fulfill that goal!

I will bring NY bagels. they r the best. or NY Cheesecake. Pizza would get ruined on the way but also nothing like it.

Happy New Year to all of you.

Great update and pics.

I have never been in the confectionery. Maybe in June.

I need a few more trips.

Cheesecake! YAY!

We enjoy watching the castle party.

Yes, schedule more trips so that you can see it all!!!

Happy New Year!!

You're still reading! Good!
Happy New Year to your family, too!

thanks, memom! i hope you have all those things in the new year too. :goodvibes

I hope so, too!

Awww, MeMom only you would think of putting your sentiment in pics, so sweet. Brooklynn as a baby, too precious. I know Isabella will be as beautiful. Yes, an accident free year is hoped for. These Vanderbilt bills are killing me!

The happiness of a new baby will overshadow any bad days, I'm sure!

I'd love to be sitting out there on the swing talking about what we could go and do, or maybe where we would go to shop!

Happy New Year Memom! I ended 2008 on a good note. I was watching the Disney shows on the Travel channel...until I fell asleep dreaming of Disney! It will be so exciting the first time you take Caleb! It gives me chills just to think about how you guys will feel the first time a character comes up to play with him.

If you need a photographer to just follow you all around and capture every smile, I happen to know one that loves Disney!

Happy New Year MeMom and family. I love the way you said it with pictures.

Thanks. I really hadn't thought of doing that until this morning. I wish I would have had time to really look back on all of the thousands of pictures and do a really good job. I enjoyed seeing the old pictures, though.

It was my pleasure. :goodvibes Yes the cold White Christmas was rather nice. I enjoyed looking at all the old pics too! and look forward to many more to come!

Happy New Year Everyone!

May everything turn out fine in 09!

Happy and Healthy New Year to you Memom, Jill and your Families. :flower3:

Happy New Year's Day! I too watched the travel channel until it started to repeat itself! Very cool! I hope your dreams all come true this year Memom and family!!!! :goodvibes

Happy New Year MeMom, Jill and family!

I hope you all had a wonderful night and day today! That post of all the new years wishes was beautiful and so creative. I hope 2009 brings all of that and more to your amazing family.

That was an awesome post, you are so sweet! I hope that the New Year brings you all of that as well.

Yes, I can deal with the snow and the bitter cold because I'll have a reprieve from it next month (we're in the 30's tomorrow!), and I will hopefully have lots of cool pictures, like from FOTLK, to bring back to get you through until your March trip. :)

Some people were ridiculous on there - just annoying. I wish there was a way to exclude their pointless and/or repetitive comments.

Me too! When I watched it a couple of nights ago, I just finally put it on full-screen so that I wouldn't keep on getting annoyed and could just focus on the fireworks.

Happy New Year to you! It was neat to see Brooklynn grow before your eyes! She's growing up fast!

Happy New Year Everyone! Hopefully this year will bring me the internet soon so I can post regularly. We have had a very busy holiday season and have switched from stuffing our faces and watching tv to preparing our house for the new arrival. We only have 14 weeks to go until our new arrival and so much to accomplish between now and then. Brooklynn is already being a great help moving books into Isabella's room and helping John put the crib together last night. Have a great day everyone!

Hi, BrooklynnsMommy! I hope you don't have to wait too much longer for the internet.

Getting ready for Isabella must be so excitting. Putting up the crib and getting things together is soo much fun. Do you still have everything you need? Are you going to use Brooklynns baby stuff. Enjoy these times. :cloud9:

Have a great day and an even better NEW YEAR! :grouphug:

Just catching up...I love the balloon picture from main street, i just love those balloons!! When mom and I were walking out of magic kingdom, I took a rather rare photopass picture! The balloon man let me hold the balloons as they snapped the picture! They were really heavy, but when I returned i didn't see the picture on the photopass. Hopefully its on another photopass card just waiting to be found so i can share it with you!

It was my pleasure. :goodvibes Yes the cold White Christmas was rather nice. I enjoyed looking at all the old pics too! and look forward to many more to come!

Happy New Year Everyone!

It will be fun to watch all the grandkids grow up having fun at Disney World. Just watching Brooklynn getting taller by the things we take pictures by, like the Mercantile totem pole or the Soarin' height bar, is interesting to see.

Happy and Healthy New Year to you Memom, Jill and your Families.

Same to you all. Maybe we'll see you on another trip.

Happy New Year's Day! I too watched the travel channel until it started to repeat itself! Very cool! I hope your dreams all come true this year Memom and family!!!!

I had Travel Channel going in the background, but I was focused on the live action. Sorceror Mickey showed Osborne Lights and Illuminations live last night. It was great!

Wouldn't it be nice if all our dreams did come true?!?!?

Happy New Year Everyone!

And to you and yours, as well!

Happy New Year MeMom, Jill and family!

I hope you all had a wonderful night and day today! That post of all the new years wishes was beautiful and so creative. I hope 2009 brings all of that and more to your amazing family.

We'll be back here this time next year to see what 2009 brought to all of us!
While we're waiting for the results, we'll enjoy sharing lots and lots of Disney trips between us all!

That was an awesome post, you are so sweet! I hope that the New Year brings you all of that as well.

He and his family are leaving soon. I think on the fifth, so you can watch until then, if you need a little Wishes fix. The other guy, Sorceror Mickey, actually takes his webcam into the park, so he has really great views!

Happy New Year to you! It was neat to see Brooklynn grow before your eyes! She's growing up fast!

She's two, but she thinks she's twelve sometimes! I love looking back at her pictures and remembering sweet moments.

Have a great day and an even better NEW YEAR!

They are using the same crib Drew used, just like they did for Brooklynn. A lot of the clothes will be able to be re-used, even though there's somewhat of a seasonal difference. They're smarter this time around, too, and they know that sometimes less is better. They don't need every new thing that is created for babies these days, because sometimes they end up just getting in the way and are a waste of money. They will need to buy a dresser for storage space, because they don't have an extra one of those.

I think putting the crib up helped Brooklynn start really solidifying the idea of a baby coming to live with her!

Just catching up...I love the balloon picture from main street, i just love those balloons!! When mom and I were walking out of magic kingdom, I took a rather rare photopass picture! Definitely show us your balloon picture!
I may have to think about asking to do that. That might make a good Hidden MeMom picture! :)

So, I met up with the rest of the bunch on Main Street, and we set out to find some fun.

We found it here.

IMG_0343.jpg

The clock was opening as we pulled out, so I tried to get a picture of it real quick. I barely got some of it in.

A blurry picture of Brooklynn waving to children up in the restaurant window.

How many times have you ridden on the happiest cruise that has ever sailed?

If you'd like, you may sing along as you view the following pictures.

It's a world of laughter, a world of tears,
It's a world of hope and a world of fears...

The wee one taking it all in.

I always enjoy watching her reaction to all of the things around her.

IMG_0369.jpg

Again, sorry for blurry pictures. I continue to be disappointed in the clarity of the pictures on this trip.

Then we headed toward Haunted Mansion.

We stopped in at Yankee Trader on the way. I don't know that Jill and I realize that you can just stay on the path there, as we always walk through that store when we walk that way. Even if we don't stay to browse, it's a store, and it's kinda cool, so we always walk in the one door and out the other when we pass it.

thanks for that nap while we rode IASW. :lmao: just kidding. i know that kids LOVE this ride and parents (and grandparents) love to watch them on it. i remember when my sister rode it for the first time - she was only 1 year old and she LOVED it. but it just puts me to sleep when i ride it. i guess when i have a kid of my own i will be so preoccupied with watching their reaction that i will be able to stay awake!

oh, i want those mickey/minnie christmas salt shakers! i didn't see those last trip. i got some thanksgiving ones very similar to that when erica and i were there in september.
