Anyone know of a place where I might be able to buy several (7 or so) matching Disney photo albums that won't break my budget? I looked at ebay, but with shipping, it's kinda out of my budget. And I'd really like them to be identical, if possible. I'm looking for the regular size albums (not the little "brag books") that have 2 or 3 slide-in slots for 4x6 photos. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated!:thumbsup2

What about getting a plain one at Wal-Mart in the scrapbooking section? They are usually about $12 - $15 for a 12x12 album and then decorating it yourself? I have done this before. You can either put stickers on it or buy Disney fabric and cover the front and back cover with fabric. I have done it both ways. Just a thought!

If you want specifically Disney albums, Jo-Ann's and Michael's and other craft stores carry them, and they are pricey, but if you get a 40% off coupon in the Sunday paper, they end up being a good price. If you have access to any of these stores, you could ask any family/friends to save the coupon for you and go with a few people to purchase them.
That would be my sugestion if you want Disney specific, but I usually buy my albums at Target on sale.

Walmart used to sell a 200 photo Disney album for under $10. I bought them several years in a row....but unfortunately I can't find them anymore. While at Disney, i paid quite a bit more (thinking $20-$25) for their 200 picture album Then we went to the discount souveneir shops and found the ones like I used to get at Walmart for under $10. I haven't seem them anywhere locally though :(

Good luck finding something for all those memories!

Thanks to everyone for their replies and suggestions. A question about Jo-Ann's that a couple of you mentioned -- I went on the website -- they seem to be scrapbooking albums, more than photo albums, but I can't tell if they come with the photo pages, or if I have to buy them separately. Do you know? It seems to be a good price, if the pages come with the book! I wish I had a Michael's around here, but, sadly, I don't. Liked the idea of getting a regular one from Walmart/Target and covering it with Disney fabric. Or, maybe I could get a Mickey head applique and create my own! Darn, darn, darn. Why didn't I buy them at Disney???? Thanks for the ideas. :)

Honestly, I'd be checking out local dollar and discount stores. You'd be amazed at what you might find.

I spent a long time last year after our trip searching for the perfect album. I had 500+ photos from our trip (after narrowing our pictures down some). I really wanted them all in one album.

This is not a "Disney" themed album, however you can get personalization on the front cover and I chose the navy/burgundy one and I think it is fine. Anyway, it is from centuryphoto.com. It is call the 2 tone Pro Album at is around 15.99. The pages I got to put in it held 10 4x6 photos per page (there are other choices). I really liked these pages because they had a spot for 2 vertical and 3 horizontal pictures on each side of a page (4 vertical and 6 horizontal on each full page). Pages come in a pack of 10 for 11.89. You would need 7 packs. It says it will hold 50 pages, so that would only be 500, but I really do like mine. It is oversized.

Another non-Disney option are some leather or maybe it is "pleather" albums they have at Target. They are the tall vertical albums that hold 3 pictures per page (6 per full page). They are around $15-20 and look very nice on a bookshelf. You can sometimes get them online, also. You would need 4. I know they come in black and maybe burgundy or navy.

I just never could seem to find a Disney one that met my needs and really didn't love the quality of the ones at the parks for the moey they cost.

Also, exposures.com and centuryphoto have tons of albums to look at. Exposures has a clearance section and also has some oversized albums. The Century Photo ones have more of a vinyl cover, but I still love mine!

Hope to have helped. Good luck in your search.

becca-becca - thanks so much :) -- I just looked at the choices at century photo, and this might just work -- one question. When it says the album only holds 50 pages, does that mean it only holds 50 pages? Is there wiggle-room there, that I could get away with 70? If not, guess I should buy 2 albums, huh? You're right, it's not disney -- but it's nice and I really like the idea that I can personalize it.

yesterday I was at K-mart and they had 4 by 6 that hold 24 photos and bigger that held 150 (about) photos in these designs
* pink with Belle Aurora Cinderella and Snow White
*Mickey Minnie Pluto Donald Daisy Goofy
*Mickey and pluto
*Pooh
*Pooh and Tigger

My kids each take 1 disposable Camera so I let them each choose one that holds 24 the shelf said $1.99 each but they rang up $1.24 so not sure if they are on sale or old and on clearance. We are in a small town and only have a K-mart and don;t go there much (we needed a last minute photo mat for 4-H so we were in that department)

I don;t know how much the bigger ones were.

I am at work and can't remember if it will hold more than 50. I really liked the option of the pictures being vertical and horizontal. I thougt I might have trouble and it wouldn't work out right, but it seems like every page I went to fill, the was the right amount of vertical and horizontal pictures. Anyway, these type of pages hold 10.

If you like all horizontal insert pages, they have a set that I believe holds 12 per page which would be 600 total pictures within 50 pages.

I will try to remember to look tonight, but if you are in a hurry to order, you might call their customer service and ask if you would be able to fit 10-20 more pages in the album without it being too tight.

The only downfall I have to this album is it is big (meaning it might not fit on all bookshelves well), but at the same time, that is a positive because it holds all of my pictures from one trip in one album.

HTH- Good Luck!

I am also looking for an album that holds about 500 photos together. It doesn't have to be Disney, but I want one that I can put them all in.

Thanks again. No hurry. I'm gonna check out the ones at KMart this weekend -- so anytime you get a chance to look at yours to see how many more pages you could fit, would be great!
