Ovarian Cysts??? - UPDATE

So, did they find anything in the CT? Cysts, anything? What about during the pelvic? Was it painful? Because (TMI) often times, when you have female issues, pelvics are painful. What about an ultrasound?

I am sitting here right now with the same exact issues. One day I can wear size 2/4 clothes and feel great and the next, I am lucky to get out of my pj's...which I have not today(because I am so miserable and because I can't fit in a thing in my closet). I have had albation and it worked for a while...but now it is time for the hysterectomy. I have 4 children and can't even imagine being out of commission for that long. Even though it stinks to hear people are as miserable as me, it makes me feel a little less crazy each month. Especially when I tell people like a balloon is inside of me and keeps blowing up and getting larger with no where to go Good luck at the doctor.

No pelvic exam, no ultrasound - I had a pelvic and abdominal cat scan with contrast - basically they scanned everything from my breasts down to my thighs and they saw NOTHING out of the ordinary.

Very puzzling.

MareQ I have been thinking of you. I know the great relief that you feel. Hang in there. Hopefully Monday you will have more iformation. See if you can bring the reports from the hospital with you to the appt.

Just wondering if you got to the doctor yet and if they found anything? I have an appointment for myself this coming week. I think all of my problems have returned, despite surgery last year. So we'll see on Tuesday!

Nothing with that problem - had my appt Monday and all is well there. Still having ths discomfort but with a CT she thinks an ultrasound is pointless. She said that if I continue to have pain I need to go to my regular DR and discuss a referral to a gastro guy to see if that may be my issue.

In the meantime.... I showed her a lump above my breast on the surface of my skin. Personally I thought it was just a pimple as it grew really fast - but it never went away and it doesn't hurt(This was another reason for my appt but not something I really wanted to talk about with my mom's history) She told me to schedule a Mammo and Ultrasound and sent me to make an appointment for a Surgeon to have it removed. She OF COURSE told me it was nothing - but why tell me to make an appt with a surgeon without seeing what it is via the mammo/U/S first??

I know there's a chance she's being cautious because of my mom - but I have myself dead and buried already anyway...
I REALLY wish I wasn't such a worry wart
