outside photographer

does disney charge a fee when you use an outside photographer?
i was surprised how much disney charged for photography and i have a few other photographers that i could use.

Disney charges you an escort fee for using an outside photographer. You are charge $90 for the first three hours, and then $30 an hour for each additional hour. Many brides have found Disney is very inconsistant with how they charge it, some get charged and some don't. But as its in the contract, you should budget for it.

do you know if they restrict where you can take pictures?
our wedding is at the boardwalk inn and there are some great photo spots along the boardwalk and i would love to get some of those shots but i don't know if that is possible with an outside photographer.

It is my understanding that at the resorts they can take shots anywhere.

We took photos along the boardwalk with our outside photographer and had no problems.

Yes - I agree, some are charged the fee and some are not. We were not charged the fee. We had our reception at the Boardwalk Convention Center and we were able to go and take pictures pretty much anywhere.

as for the videography you can use disney videography without the photo.
