Hi

Just wondering where some of the best places outside of MK are to view the fireworks.

Thanks
Jenn

On the 4th floor observation deck of the Contemporary resort. They even pipe in the music.

The beach at the Poly.

The ferryboat dock at the TTC.

4th floor Observation Deck at the Contemporary.

Any stairwell facing the MK on the North end of the Contemporary.

Sit in a hammock on the beach at the Polynesian. AHhhh.......

I'm going to suggest even higher and say the 15th floor observation deck at the Contemporary Resort.

One of the nightly hay rides from Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness. They even pipe the music in while the wagon pauses at the beach to watch the show.

We've always stayed for the FWs but Sunday night we left the park at 15 till to miss the crowds as we had parked at MGM, well of course as soon as we got off the Ferry (with only about 10 other people) the music started (it was piped into the covered seating area at the dock) and I begged DFiance to stay and watch. We saw Tink's light go pretty far before fading and then they began, it was beautiful from there. We've seen it from the Hub, and also next to Ariel's Grotto tables and once from the end of Main Street, but this had to be the best view. You could see everything as I think it was intended, when we were up close we missed 1/2 of the show I think after seeing it from here. Some of the fireworks form shapes (hearts, faces, etc.) and you can't see that from in the park. From here you could still see the castle color changes, etc., and the finale was amazing! I think we will do this again next time! I second the Ferry boat dock at the TTC and highly recommend it (especially with kiddos, no crowds to fight when FWs are over, the exit was empty as was the parking lot and busses). ::yes::

I'm not too familiar with the MK in Orlando. Do you mean the ferry boat dock before you board the ferry or after you get off the ferry or both? Sorry to sound stupid. Was there once, 4 years ago but I don't remember taking the ferry.

Thanks for everyone's responses. Because we go to Disneyland so often, I'm not sure I want to eat up a park day at MK, but would like to see the fireworks.

Thanks again
Jenn

Before you board to go to MK... the only cost to you would be parking if you didn't park at a resort or other park... you could take a bus or monorail from any of the other parks and walk over to the Ferry Boat dock and look towards the castle. Although even if you've been to DL, if you haven't been to MK I would say go... I've heard there are many differences and the new Phillarmagic is great!

It is off limits to people not dining at the CG. This changed quite some time ago.
