We are going to SW during our next trip for a day. We are on the premium plan so we get 3 meals a day and wanted to get some sandwiches or something like that to take to SW with us. Do they allow anything to be brought in or do we have to buy food there? I want to know so 1) we don't use a meal for that we don't have to and 2) so we don't have to throw away food. I'm also getting together money to have to do the things we want to do while there and I'll make sure we have money for lunch if we are going to need it.

If you can't take food in, what would be a reasonable counter service place at SW? Or somewhere that we can get something to share? We are eating at Narcoosee's that night so a big meal isn't necessary.

Thanks!!

I thought I saw something about this on here somewhere but now I can't find it..... Doesn't anyone know??

This is from the Sea World website. Hope it helps:

Dining, Food, and Beverage Policy

Restaurants and concession stands are located conveniently throughout the park. Large hard or soft coolers, glass containers, food, drinks and picnic lunches may not be taken into the park. Guests with special diets, baby formula or baby food may bring their items into the park.

Just outside the park entrance, near the pet care facility is a small dog walk and picnic area.

There are a few picnic tables and I've never noticed any smell from doggie doo. In fact, I've seen very few dogs there.

So, you could bring a cooler, leave it in the car, leave the park for lunch (get your hands stamped!), grab the cooler from the car and eat in the picnic area.

Thanks for the info!!

Unfortunatily we will not be driving so I guess we won't be packing. What a bummer.

Does anyone have an inexpensive counter service that is worth hitting? I just hate the idea of spending money on lunch when I have already paid for the meals.

The counter service inside of the hospitality center (the place where you get the free beer) has huge sandwiches which could be shared.

This is where I was thinking to go. That's good to know that the sandwiches are big. Mom and I have compatable tastes in food so we should be able to share something there easily.

Thanks.

We had no problem bringing in our own food when we visited in early January. We had some chips and sandwiches in individual ziploc bags. Security waved us through without a word.

I haven't tried "big people" food but my son used to be SO picky that we could only count on his eating PB&J. So we brought that and some snacks with us. No problem getting those through.

As far as quick counter service, I second the deli.
